Nice cabin in great location

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cabin. The pond and little creek have it a nice atmosphere and it was just short drive to the trails in the Big South Fork. Overall, cabin was very nice.

Close to the Big South Fork. Only negative was there were no towels so we had to purchase some in town.

Quiet, peaceful and cozy

It was beautiful and cozy. Love the wrap around porch. It was a nice to enjoy the quiet in the country. Perfect for a nice getaway. It was easy to get in after a long drive. Will definitely look into coming back!

Great location

I stayed here while attempting a nearby mountain bike route. The location was within a quick drive of the trailhead. Many restaurants and grocery stores are nearby if needed. Great spot for travelers who want to focus on the outdoors. Great wrap around porch with rear facing privacy. Very quiet!

Sweet little cabin

Sweet cabin with full wraparound porch in secluded setting. Enjoyed the little pond across the road. Kitchen is well enough equipped to make meals. Coffee pot is wonky - but we made it work. Would definitely stay here again. Great launching point for BSF and close to Oneida. Relaxing on the porch in the quiet solitude would be delightful also.

Cozy Thanksgiving

Very clean, warm, and accessible property. Wifi worked wonderfully for us to see our favorite out of state teams play on the Roku. There were 4 of us, and sitting was a little tight in the family room but we made do! I like to snuggle with my grown kids when they let me!

100 mile ultra trail run

We went down to Tennessee for my husband to run the No Business 100 mile ultra trail race. The cabin was about 40 mins from Pickett State Park group camp. The cabin was perfect for what we needed. The wrap around porch was really nice to have and our daughter loved it and the slide across the street. We didn't use the large gazebo but it was beautiful and would be great for hanging out. The small pond, fall color leaves, and sunrise were so nice to look at on the front porch after getting up.

Very nice cabin in the woods near BSF for hiking

My partner stayed in this cabin and I was in a nearby cabin. We cooked and spent most of our time in this cabin. The only complaint that we have is that the stove/oven did not have a handle on the oven door and that the oven itself and the large left front burner had no temperature control. They were either on full heat or they were not on at all. It made cooking a little challenging. Otherwise, a great place to stay. Oven needs repair.

Disappointed

Two weeks prior to my sons wedding. I got an email, returning my money and canceling my reservation with no explanation. When I reached out to the owner, I was unable to get in contact with them. I finally received an email saying I double booked. That was the only explanation I got. My entire family wanted up having to stay in a two bedroom tiny cabin. The cabin she said was double booked was a two-story three bedroom plenty of room for me and my family. I drove by five times and there was never no one at that cabin. I don’t know why she did not let me have it for my family and I .

Gorgeous and peaceful.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The oven is stuck on high though. Porch light was out. Everything else was the best you can get. The views were amazing and just far enough away from town. GPS does not work out there. Get specific directions for the property before going.

Cozy

Cozy little cabin in a great location. It definitely does NOT allow 6 people. It’s a small cabin with two full size beds and a couch that does not pull out. The beds were not comfortable at all (way to soft! Like sinking to the floor) but that’s all preferences. They were clean. The cabin was clean as well. Nice porch to see all the way around. Heat was on point! About ran us out it got so warm and cozy! Nice gazebo building across the street. Safe, quiet community. Perfect for a couple and two small kids or two couples but no more than that. TV in bedroom isn’t working.

Great cabin

We want to watch son in law in his first 100 miler . This cabin was perfect location . Gave enough privacy but not too far from town . Very clean and no issues checking in .

Great location and cabin

I love the location of this cabin in relation to Big South Fork park. It's quiet, comfortable and cozy. We did have a few issues to mention: 1. The front porch light doesn't work (can be scary if you are alone) and one of the lamps in the living area was out. 2. The oven isn't working properly. We burnt two meals, one with the temp set on 150 degrees when it was supposed to be set on 350, and it burnt it to a crisp in 8 minutes. We think the thermostat is out. It would get super hot no matter what you put in on. Also, there's no real restaurants in the area so burnt food is super inconvenient. 3. There are bears, and the trash cans aren't bear proof. We had a bear come up onto the porch to check the trash can while we were sitting on the same porch! We drove around and saw that he got into 6 other cabins garbage, so he's a regular. 4. Our food froze in the refrigerator.

Zero complaints, enjoyed our stay. Manager worked with us to move our reservation back two weeks after bad weather was forecast for the weekend we were scheduled to stay.

Weekend getaway

Great location -- 15 min from Oneida for last-minute supplies or pizza, and close by Big South Fork's exceptional hiking and scenery. Prompt communication by host. We enjoyed our stay!

Very cozy and Convenient, but NO Wyfy

This cabin is super cute with a wrap around porch, and it's close to Big South Fork Park. We loved the small stream in the back, that made it so relaxing to sit on the back porch and enjoy the view. Some things to note for those booking: There is NO WYFY. We tried the password on the router multiple times, but it doesn't work. The service in the area is non existent, so I could not even make a call. The parking is across the narrow street. It's not a big deal, but you cannot park right up next to the cabin. Bring your own toilet paper, there was only about 1/3 of a role there. No bath mat, that we could find. There is only salt and pepper in the kitchen, no condiments or other spices/staples. There are dishes and pans. The beds are really tall, if you're a short person. We could not locate a washer and dryer any where in the cabin, even though the instructions read "put on a load of towels when you leave"

The view

It was a very nice cabin. The walk around deck was just as great as the cabin. View from the front window was a pond and the stream flowing in the back was very calming
