Bareboat bungalow was the perfect getaway! Close to beautiful Tawas Point and very cozy! The host was very helpful and communicative! I would highly recommend!

This place was great. I go to east tawas every year specifically for the dog beach. It was wonderful. The cottage was so close to the park and beaches. This is my first time getting a rental cottage instead of camping and my experience was fantastic from check in to check out. The communication was thorough and not too much and the host pretty much made sure to provide enough information about the property and surrounding area that I wasn’t left wondering about anything. And they go the length of providing window and portable ac units for comfort which I find is rare with vacation rentals that don’t have central air. 10/10 for my family of 5 and 2 dogs. We loved it.

Great location! Right next to entrance to the Tawas point state park. Home was clean and very very well stocked. Would stay here again!!

We had a great stay at the cottage! Couple pros:- state park is right there, and it is really nice. Dog beach and regular beaches there are great we went several days- the area is really nice with some good restaurants and we enjoyed staying outside- kayaks were great, we took them out- you can walk them to end of street to put in at the lake - beds were comfy, you can tell beds and pillows aren’t cheap crap, so sleep was decent. Cons:- I found the WiFi a bit weak, if you weren’t right next to it- I expected the lack of central a/c to be an issue in the summer, but it was mostly fine, the wall units mostly kept the place cool. The only exception is the sun room (gets a lot of sun) will get pretty warm during a hot day

Wifi is fixed: our provider has been doing some work this year and it has resulted in variable Wifi (my family - we are wifi hogs so we pay for better service anyway) - a new router has been installed. The sunroom is a def not the cool spot on a hot day. :-) Thanks for taking care of our place and leaving a review! Happy to have you back.

This is a well equipped cottage in a really great spot! The state park is walking distance and has nice walks, a playground, and excellent beaches

Cozy, great location!

We loved our stay here! The location was great being able to walk to the state park and a quick drive into town. The house was so cozy and a great spot to relax for a weekend getaway. We I’ll definitely be back!

Very cute bungalow! Close too beach, park and shopping! Pet friendly! Host was very helpful and went above and beyond with welcoming us and providing great information! I will definitely be recommending this property to friends and family!

Great East Tawas cottage

We had a nice time at the bungalow. Good shower and comfy beds. Very close to the state park. It's in a neighborhood and you can walk to the water (view, not swim). Would stay again.

Great getaway in Tawas!

Excellent location, just a few steps to the State park. Remember to look up when you are around the campfire, the stars are amazing! Loved our peaceful lake trip...thank you!

Beautifully Decorated Beach Cabin

Our family stayed during the spring and it was a really cute little place. It had all the amenities we needed and was within walking distance to Tawas State Park. We also enjoyed the fire pit and smart tvs. Would definitely stay again!

Week long trip

Loved the location of this place. It’s where I love to be. The beach is so close and morning walks a treasure! The cabin is neat and clean and has everything you need. I have stayed twice and will return for a third trip!

Perfect location

This quaint cottage is in the perfect location. We were so close to the beach, state park, and marina where we rented a boat. They had everything and the washer/dryer was perfect after a day of hiking/boating!

great base from which to enjoy the Tawas area

We've been to Tawas before, staying downtown the last time. We preferred to stay at this property, which was within easy walking distance of the state park and a short drive away from the center of town. Our daughter and dog both seemed to enjoy the place and we all had a relaxing time in our new "home base" in Tawas.

Great place!

Nice little house! Weather was not great while I was there but saw there was kayaks, a bicycle, and a nice wagon to take your stuff to the beach, which was right down the road! Real close to lighthouse and state park with beautiful beach there too! Host was very attentive and friendly! I’d definitely stay again!
