INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.


All credit card payments will incur a non-refundable 3.5% convenience fee. E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (provided they are submitted at least 30 days prior to check-in).

The pool was great. The tiki bar and onsite food makes for a great stay as well. Beds comfy. I don’t like the layout of the bunks. There’s so space for suitcases or anything but it helps with sleeping arrangements if you have littles.

Great place

My family enjoyed our stay. Perfect floor we were able to take the stairs with the kids. Wish there was an area to cook out on that side of the condo.

Relaxing

Being on the 3rd floor is good but elevators are still the biggest complaint for this resort. Other than that, everything at this resort is great. Pool is very nice for family. Beach is right there as well. Very nice place to stay

Great place

The property was great and exactly as listed. We enjoyed our stay. My only complaint was that we had some window/door inspectors come in and take pictures of every window/ sliding door during our stay. It was really random and uncomfortable.

The room was very dirty. Toilet has what appears to be throw up down the side from day one. Cooking items are In horrible shape. Pans are worthless. No oven mitts. Knives don’t cut at all. Overall- horrible experience. We had two sick children and haven’t been offered any compensation for no water for two days when I had to buy fans and bottled water to flush toilets. Entry way smells of cat pee. Cockroaches on door when we entered.

Very enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay in DB Shores. The condo was everything you see online. Very convenient to the beach awesome views. Before the week was over we were talking about coming back next year! We have mainly visited the gulf coast in the past but will definitely be visiting the east coast again. Very clean condo and facility. Looking ahead to 2020!

Gorgeous Condo

The condo was exactly as shown in pictures. The condo was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies. The entire condo was decorated beautifully. Access from the parking garage was easy. The resort is conveniently located next door to Pineapple Willy’s. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful trip

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the balcony was amazing. We loved the beach and the restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. We did not have any problems with parking or waiting on the elevators. Only recommendation I would have would be to have the couch cleaned as there were several stains. We will be back!

It was a great stay

We overall had a wonderful stay. Perfect house for a family. The only thing is I would be prepared for salt pepper, dish soap and laundry soap. There’s only enough for 1 time and no seasoning to cook with. Everything else was great. Absolutely beautiful!

Nice location & nice overall

Parking was a nightmare. Elevators were a nightmare. However this was halfway due to it being memorial day weekend so it was packed. The bed felt like it could break just laying down on it and there was a huge dead roach in the closet. However overall the place was very clean and nice. Love the decor and the availability of the private washer & dryer in the unit. Love the balcony with the view. I think if both beds and the shower heads were updated we would stay again.

Nice condo and view

Glad we picked the 3rd floor as we did not use the elevators much at all. My only complaint was the room not having reserved assigned parking. Very troublesome on arrival day. Other than that, no major complaints. No issues with the staff- we wore our wrist band as required. No issues. Room had a few things that needed repair but nothing that hindered our vacation.

We didn't enjoy our stay because of horrible beds. All of them were so very uncomfortable, making noise each time you move. I couldn't get up from the bed without waking up my husband and apposite. The hardest pillows and memory foam on the bed would irritate me every time I go to bed. All beds need to be replaced. Also there was no blankets at all. I had to go to Walmart and buy a hoodie for my husband because he gets cold at night. Would not come back to this condo again. I don't trust this host because of hidden fees. I asked why there was extra charge at my bank and never got the answer why. This was my 6th time staying in this hotel and have never complained. Do not recommend this one.

The AC wasn't working when we arrived but was fixed in a couple of hours. The overall cleanliness was not good when we arrived. Multiple issues were noted and proof was provided with pictures. Pool was closed the last two days of our stay as well. Overall I like Shores of Panama. I like the room location. More attention needed by cleaning crew and a QA person needs to follow up to make sure it is done right. There should never be an item on the bed with a blood stain on it and hair should never be found in a supposedly clean shower as well as urine spatter on a toilet seat. Our first evening was spent in a warm room doing cleaning that should have been done by the staff.

Annual Girls Beach Trip

Overall it was a pleasant experience staying in this condo. It was clean and well maintained. And the decor was nice. We requested maintenance it fix and replace a couple of items and they were quick to respond and get the concerns taken care of. We’ll consider staying in this condo again.
