This property is beautiful. We would stay here again. The only negative is that the pictures of the lakefront area are no longer accurate. There are reeds/weeds that completely fill the area a good 100-200 yards out. There's no swimming off the dock or lakefront area. So if you want to swim, just make sure to rent his smaller pontoon that can traverse the weedy area.

The home is lovely with a well appointed kitchen and everything you need to enjoy the summer in the woods. The host is very responsive. The lake is clear and clean and good for swimming. No swimming is possible by the cabin because of all the vegetation in the water - which is apparently wild rice! One note of caution… maneuvering the pontoon out of the dock area is very challenging because of the plants that clog the motor so easily.

This was our 2nd year at the same property because we really enjoyed our stay last summer. The house is amazing and set up well for our family. My husband is in a wheelchair and everything we needed was on the main level. The game room is a big hit also. We took advantage of the pontoon rental which was fun. The only negative is the lake in front of the property. It is very weedy, so you have to take the pontoon out to swim or even fish. Other than that,we had a great time and Davron is a wonderful host.

Fun winter getaway

Enjoyed this lake house. Good space for time together and quiet spaces for downtime. Property manager was proactive and very responsive.

House was well maintained and stocked with more essentials than most other rentals. The only downside is that you can’t enjoy the lake right off the dock because of weeds. We rented the boat which was well also well maintained.

Great Place!

This is an awesome stay for families. Clean and well-stocked with lots of space to relax. We really enjoyed our time. Worth noting that the lake isn't great for swimming unless you're able to take a boat to the middle and float/jump off, which worked for us! Very enjoyable long weekend for my family.

Girls weekend

This is a beautiful property and house. We had a great time playing yard games and sitting by a fire. The game was also a huge success! We loved playing the games and made so many amazing memories!

We stayed at this location for the first time over the fourth of July. It was as advertised and more. The house had everything that one would need for a weekend vacation. The game room provided a lot of entertainment for the family. We rented the pontoon and went fishing every day. I would definitely recommend doing this if you like to fish. If you don't want to get the pontoon the cabin is located very close to the overpass between Platte and Sullivan lake so you could walk a short distance and fish the channel from the overpass. The boat was docked in a shallow part of the lake so some care needed working your way out of the bay but nothing major. The house was perfect for a large group. Besides the game room there were TV's, games and puzzles. There was a Blackstone and separate standalone grill that worked amazing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The appliances were all up to date and in great condition and there were a lot of supplies that other rentals did not usually have (extra condiments, spices, etc...). The closest place for supplies was Bear Trax just 2.5 miles away with bread, eggs, milk, bait, etc... It was a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an escape up north without having to travel too far from the cities.

The property is beautiful & clean. We VERY much enjoyed our stay & would absolutely recommend the property. Might need to bump the water heat a bit in the winter, but that was our only (and super minor) “complaint.” Thank you for a wonderful stay & precious memories!

Great stay

Great house configuration for who we had staying at the house. Rental of pontoon was a great decision as we used it every single day. Upstairs bedrooms could have used dressers or place to put clothes. Host was quick to respond anytime we had questions or concerns.

Phenomenal and memorable!

Simply delightful! We loved this cabin, the pontoon, the game room and the incredible fishing! I cannot recommend this cabin and amenities enough! We had so, so much fun and we would love to come back in the future! Thank you, Davron and family for allowing us to stay at your amazing and beautiful cabin property. We have so many amazing memories of this year's family vacation.

Moms Get Away

The property was beautiful. Clean, modern, well stocked kitchen, and spacious. There also was a lot of sleeping options. Only draw back was that you could not swim in the was from property but the view of the lake from the home was beautiful. We had an amazing time and are so glad we stayed at this property.

Wonderful lake house

We had a great family stay (2 grandparents, 4 adult siblings and 1 granddaughter) at this spacious and fun house. The kayaks, awesome game garage and optional pontoon rental made for a really fun getaway! We cooked all meals there and the kitchen is very well equipped. There is no off shore swimming but the kayaks and pontoon get you on the water. We had a blast!

Perfect Lake Getaway for Our Group!

We had a group of 12 adults plus a 2-year-old, and this beautiful lake house was the perfect fit for all of us! The space was comfortable, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was being able to rent the pontoon directly through the host—it made everything super convenient, and communication was a breeze.If we had to be picky, the only downside was that the dock area wasn’t great for swimming due to the weeds. But once we were out on the water, it was absolutely stunning. Would definitely come back!

We had a great stay at this lakehouse! We had a party of 10 (my family of 5 plus my sisters family of 5 ) and we had plenty of space in this house! We had 4 adults, and 6 kids ages 2-15. The game room was used alot, and we also rented the pontoon boat for 3 of the days which made a huge difference when staying on this property. We were aware swimming off the dock was mentioned as not ideal- but figured it might be okay. It is definitely not swimmable though! Theres about 100ft from the end of the dock out to mostly clear water. Since we planned on not swimming off the dock, we just used the 3 kayaks, 1 SUP board, and the pontoon to get out to clearer water. The water itself is not murky or dirty- its just a sandy bottom where taller grasses and lily pads grow which makes it not easy to swim. The house itself is very clean, new, and set up perfect for a family. The King room is on the main level, and has an amazing ensuite bathroom. Upstairs is two queen rooms and the massive bunkroom. Sullivan Lake and Platte Lake are very good sizes lakes to explore- we had so mcuh fun swimming and fishing! Favorite things: king suite bathroom tub and steam shower, lots of bath and beach towels, T3 hairdryer to use, open layout on main floor, black out shades in bedroomszc game room, pontoon boat.Things to consider: dock not swimmable, not enough comfy couch seating available in the living room, bunk room can be a little warm because its a huge space to cool down, bedrooms need lamps.
