The Copper Cay is a cozy condo located in the heart of Destin. We can accommodate up to 6 guests & up to 2 furry friends (with pet fee). Our design of industrial farmhouse mixed with spunky copper finishes will have our guests feeling relaxed & refreshed! Our complex offers three BRAND NEW pools, with one being directly next to our building, and a peaceful lake walkover just steps away. Enjoy your trip living like a "local" in the comforts of the Copper Cay!

**We cannot stress enough for all potential guests to read our listing & rules in full detail before booking, to ensure our place is satisfactory for your needs. While we have created a budget friendly, fresh, & cozy space inside, there are some limitations that are beyond our control. We understand that our home is not for everyone & want our guests to have the best experience when choosing to book with us!**

When you arrive, you'll enter The Copper Cay with a code on our keyless entry keypad, for added convenience! Immediately to the right, you can flip the switch on for the lamps to shed some cozy ambient lighting. You'll walk right in to the living room that welcomes you with a comfortable queen sleeper sectional, soft blankets to snuggle up in, and a cozy seating area under the tv for everyone to enjoy each other's company. We've added a brand new 65 Smart Tv with standard cox cable offered for our guests convenience. Guests can feel free to login to their own medias (Netflix, YouTube, Etc) during your trip as well!

Our entire back wall of the condo brings a gorgeous amount of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows & sliding doors. Our dining area sits right in the center of the windows, with easy access to the small patio to sit and sip a cup of coffee in the sunshine at either table-inside or out! Our laundry room, with a brand new full sized washer & dryer, iron, and ironing board, is situated directly next to the dining area as well-no need to go to the laundromat or take a suitcase of dirty clothes home!

Our kitchen area is where we've really put the name "Copper Cay" into play. Our backsplash will have you saying "Ooooooh" with its shiny copper finish, along with all the small accents we've put throughout our place. Everything is a full open concept to the living room with four metal stools at the beautiful quartz breakfast bar for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, a full wine cooler, barware, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, a full spice rack, standard coffee maker, Keurig, & courtesy coffee. Our stove even offers a pot filler right above it, for even easier cooktop use! A small pantry is also available for storing anything needed during your stay. We have an easy to use high chair, and plastic dinnerware, utensils, & cups for our little travelers as well!

Directly off the living area you can find that "Life is So Good" in our farmhouse styled bedroom with a 12" cooling gel memory foam King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. A 50' Roku enabled tv here is perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day. Feel free to even plug in your phone bedside with our USB ports conveniently located in each lamp! For those with extra guests we have one Queen fold out memory foam mattresses & linens stored in the closet. A pack and play is also offered for families with little ones traveling-one less item to pack!

The bathroom offers a shower & tub combo with sliding glass doors, a beautiful lighted copper vanity area, soft towels, and plenty of space to get ready in. We've designed this space with the amenities we've desired to have when we travel-all the comforts of home (and not a cramped & cold hotel feel) to ensure our guests have a top notch experience at the Copper Cay!

While we are not walking distance to the beach, there is public beach access within 3/4 mile at June Decker Public Beach Access, and extremely family friendly Henderson Beach State Park 1.6 miles away. We do include beach towels for guests, but any other beach items are not provided or guaranteed.

We also offer the convenience of having two entrances to our complex! The main entrance allows you to drive directly onto the main road through Destin, and another allowing you to exit onto a side road near a stop light when traffic gets a little crazy in our small town!

A few important things to keep in mind:

-Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10pm sharp. We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time.
-Smoking is not permitted on the balcony or near the building at any time.
-While we do host groups 25 years or younger at our discretion, we must be notified before your confirmed booking. We do not host one night bookings for ages 25 and younger at any time.
-Any stay that a house trained pet will be included in MUST be disclosed when booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required. We do not accept more than 2 dogs, and pets must be crated when unattended and cleaned up after inside and out. Pets are not permitted on furniture at any time. ADA recognized service animals are not charged a pet fee, but ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are still subject to pet fee. False information regarding a service animal is against the law in our state, so we appreciate your honesty in this matter.
-We are NOT beachfront, you can't see the beach, you can't stick your toes in the sand from the front door, and you do have to get in your vehicle to drive to the PUBLIC beach access that is 3/4 mile from our condo. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location. We do provide beach towels for our guests to use at the beach. Any other beach or pool items are not guaranteed.
-This is a mixed community with residential & short term guests alike. While the gated community itself is a "community in transition" with updates to the exterior being improved steadily, we do not have control over any "look" of the exterior of our condo. We have gone above & beyond to create a beautiful & cozy space INSIDE for our guests enjoyment!

We are always available for our guests anytime before and during your trip. It is highly encouraged to read our listing in detail for any questions about the space, location, and amenities.
We ask, please, for NO text message communication as you will not receive a response. Our strong preference is communication directly through the booking platform so that we have all the details of your trip to make assisting you a breeze.

For more immediate needs and emergencies please place a phone call to Matthew (and be sure to know where you're staying and the logistics of your trip!). We can be reached most times of the day, with the exception of the middle of the night-and will do our absolute best to take care of any needs and questions as soon as they arise!

You have full access to the entire condo, the complex swimming pools, tennis courts, laundry facilities (and private laundry at the condo),and two entrances to the condo complex. We're within walking distance of beach stores, Waffle House, Chick-Fil-A, Shakes Frozen Custard, Mary's Kitchen, Beach Liquors, Subway, Merlin's Pizza, Smoothie King, and The Track!

PLEASE read our house rules in detail before booking. We take time to put important information here that we need each guest to take into consideration when booking our home. While not all items listed may apply to your stay, we host guests of various group compositions so must list all rules that could apply to a trip. Thank you for your understanding!

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation fees will be charged as
follows: All cancellations will have a credit card processing fee
withheld from the refunded amount. This amount will vary
based on the total of your reservation total. Damage protection
insurance and travel insurance plus appropriate taxes are not
refundable. If the cancellation occurs 31 to 90 days prior to
the check in date, the Rental Deposit will be retained. If the
cancellation occurs 30 days prior to arrival, the full rental
amount will be retained. This is agreed to when booking our property, and is non-negotiable.
All guests MUST read our listing description in full before booking. This home is not a good fit for everyone, so we want to ensure you have a great stay.

-This complex is a community in transition. While the exterior of some of the buildings can be intimidating & maybe not what you may be expecting within a gated community (they were built in the 70's) please know that this is beyond our control. The grounds are cared for daily by the HOA. We take excellent care of the interior of our place & if you have concerns please contact us ASAP.
-Trailer, watercraft, RV, and other large vehicles are not permitted to be parked in the complex at any time due to HOA restrictions.
-Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10pm sharp. -We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time.
-We do rent to those under age 25 at our discretion. We must be notified BEFORE booking, for you to obtain approval to book.
-Any stay that a house trained pet will be included in MUST be disclosed when booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required.
