Great location!

We had a great time! The property was right on the ocean and with in walking distance to restaurants and the boardwalk. The condo was clean, if a tad out dated but we didn't need super fancy to have a great time!

Great vacation

Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your home. We have enjoyed our stay. The view from the porch was worth evey step. Everything we needed was within 5 minutes drive.

Ocean Front

The unit was overall clean, but really run down. The view was exceptional and the large TV with DirecTV was a nice touch but overall comfort was lacking. We have flipped several properties and details matter.

5 star views with a 2 star experience

We stayed at this property for a week in June 2022. This rental is on the beach and the views of the ocean are perfect. The low point of our stay was being locked out of our rental because the app and the door lock were broken. Standing in the smelly, dimly lit staircase in our wet and sandy bathing suits for 3 hours when we needed to be getting ready for family photos was probably the worst day of our trip. I would recommend not using the August app if you plan to stay at this property. I was only able to get the door lock to work a few times, most of the time it would not even connect to my phone. The interior of the rental needs some work. The master bed slats kept falling. The curtains didn't cover the window all the way. The pillows were yellowed. The sheets and pillow cases were so worn and old and had rips. There are places on the floor where you can feel the rotten wood over the linoleum. The kitchen surfaces were clean but if you open any of the cabinets or drawers and its filthy. I felt the need to wash any cup or utensil before using it. The handle on the fridge kept popping off. I found a roach on the kitchen counter toward the end of our stay. The livingroom furniture is just not comfortable and we never were able to figure out the master bed tv. The livingroom had direct tv but it was mostly infomercial channels. The host should put together a binder with information about everything for the house and area. He did send me an lengthy message the day before check in which included what most hosts put in a binder, he also informed me to bring my own toilet paper which I found odd because usally when you drop over 2k to stay at a beach rental...paper products are included. We enjoyed our stay because of the beach, but there is no way in hell I would stay here again.

great view and beach

The pros, and the most important thing. The view on the balcony and proximity to the beach is more amazing than can be put into word. Relaxing, able to see the fireworks, I already miss the sounds of the beach! Cons: stairs, although a good workout for sure! Not very clean, outdated, needs some work done, examples: back screen off its track, freezer/ice maker not working but there is an additional small freezer provided, no cutting boards, older couches, master bed old foam overlay/rather uncomfortable sinking bed). Overall, I booked this place at a great value regarding beach proximity and expected some outdated amenities, thus I was more than happy to rent this space for me and family.

Carolina Beach is absolutely a wonderful place to vacation!

Perfect location!! Perfect views!! Couldn’t have it any better for that. I am sure that the third floor allowed for the visual perfection of the ocean views. With that comes also it’s limitation. Rough hauling up and down the stairs throughout the day. The building is located in a prime spot! Inside hallway is worn down. Could use some brightening up with new, clean flooring and a fresh paint job. The apartment was the perfect size for four and had great accommodations. Again, a bit of updating would be recommended (bathrooms and kitchen appliances). Overall cleanliness was fine, but under, above, and behind the surfaces is a suggestion. The property owner did not respond to a previously written note in a timely manner. Luckily, timing was on our side as someone was there to come to our aide. Thank you to the lovely lady! Extremely kind and helpful! I will certainly return to Carolina Beach.

Fabulous oceanfront view!

We enjoyed our visit, especially sitting out on the balcony watching the moonrise over the ocean. So easy to get to the beach, nice condo. It is up six mini flights of stairs so plan ahead for carrying things up. It is worth the stirs!

Carolina Beach August 2021

Staying in the penthouse condo was awesome with amazing views. The only down side is all the stairs. Make each trip up or down the steps worth it. Otherwise everything was great. The owner responded very quickly to any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Stay!

Awesome location - walking distance to Boardwalk!! Ocean front and a great view through glass doors and on patio. Large master bedroom and Huge closet! Very easy communication with property manager. Easy parking under building. (Only downside was the stairs - with the parking being the 1st level, it was up 4 floors.)

This condo was absolutely perfect! Great location with a beautiful view. Property host was FANTASTIC! We appreciated the detailed information for check-in and check out. Would definitely stay here again.

Carolina Beach place to stay

Great location, wonderful view of beach and easy check-in. It is on the 3rd floor so there are steps. But I would definitely stay here again.
