Stunning, spacious renovation in the heart of Kiawah

HI Sharon, thank you so much for the helpful feedback, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay at the home! The beach boardwalk is a straight, easy path form the home, its .5 miles or a 10 min walk (I've personally walked it myself with a child and this is about how long it took us), or a 3 min bike ride. I'd highly recommend for any stay on Kiawah renting bikes and carts, you can get anywhere on Kiawah via the paved trails very easily and quickly even with lots of gear and kids (our recommended vendors offer bikes with child seats or even child pull behinds!). The homeowners are mindful of children playing on the back deck and they have installed a safety gate on the steps down for that reason, it is perfectly safe to let the kids play on that deck with the gate closed and with adult supervision of course. It is very educational and fascinating watching wildlife in their native habitat, right from your back porch! We hope you will be back soon.

It sounds like as a whole your stay was great but we could have improved on the condition of the flooring and the Dyson charger was not working properly. I do not see that you reached out to us or tried to contact us regarding these items during your visit. It's imperative to let us know any issues upon check in so we can ensure your stay goes as smoothly as possible, we would have been happy to come redo the floors, they can get dusty if the house has not been occupied for a bit and then guests come in with luggage, groceries, etc and can kick dust up, dark flooring can show more as well. We have on-site property management and in-house cleaning staff for this reason, we're always happy to touch things up to improve your experience. The homeowners also do have a second vacuum in the home (the Dyson is really more for touch ups but there is a full size electric vacuum too!) so I apologize you swept up by hand but there was a second vacuum as well to use in case you did not want any of our staff in the home. We hope you will give us another try and do let us know as soon as possible if there is anything amiss so we can assist asap.

The house does have a lovely kitchen area with high end, quality appliances and cabinetry/countertops, and a super long kitchen island, at one end there are 6 comfortable bar stools as a breakfast table, there is also a sitting room, living room, den upstairs, etc there are lots of wonderful seating areas for friends and family to spread out in the home.
