We're so glad Acorn Alley's location and setup fit perfectly for your family of four, and that you got to experience the Mariposa Grove giant sequoias just down the road, one of our favorite recommendations for guests staying at this cabin. Just to clarify, Acorn Alley is a cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath cabin, with the additional roll aways and sofa bed offering extra sleeping space beyond the bedroom itself. As for the AC, most cabins in the park don't have central air, since the higher elevation, tall pines, and cooler mountain breeze usually keep things comfortable without it. This cabin does have a portable AC unit which does a great job overall, though during peak summer, cooking can occasionally warm up the place a bit. We're so glad you'd recommend the property, and we'd love to host your family again soon!

Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad the home was clean and that check‑in/out and the washer/dryer went smoothly, and I’m sorry the hot tub leaked — that shouldn’t have happened. Our hot tubs are professionally serviced between stays; had we known during your visit we would have sent maintenance right away. We’ve reported the issue and scheduled repairs so future guests won’t have the same problem. Glad the sauna was a hit after your hikes, and thank you for letting us know.
