We absolutely love this property indoors and out. This was our second visit and we’ll definitely come back again. The home is beautiful and well-appointed with everything you might need. We enjoyed the firepit and fireplace, the deck and covered porch. It’s the perfect escape wrapped in nature. It’s close to great restaurants and activities, but offers a serene sanctuary where one can just relax and read, play games, watch movies… The host is very friendly and responsive. We had the best time and were disappointed when it was time to leave. We truly look forward to returning as soon as we can.

The NestleInn is an amazing retreat! Private, cozy, clean, and a good base for adventures around Franklin, Highlands and Cashiers. Our family has fallen in love with the mountain moss, the fire pit, the porches, the various inside amenities and thoughtful touches. It’s become our happy place. The host is wonderful.

Great host. . Great location . Super clean and updated Cannot say enough good things about nestle inn and Mrs Linda. This place was great for my kids ( 1 and 3 years old). Gas fire pit was so easy and convenient for the time span of our kids and perfect for smores. Also thanks to Mrs Linda and the advice of the local waterfall within ten minutes of the cabin. Great little hike for me and my three year old.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The design, the cleanliness, the amenities, the furnishings, the location, it was all more than we expected. We wished we had booked a longer stay. On the final morning we were blessed by a visit by a beautiful yellow cat to finalize our stay at NestleInn. We could not have hoped for a better setting to enjoy a visit with our great friends!

Private and relaxing getaway

The property is amazing!!! Very private and secluded. The home is very cozy, perfect for relaxing, and close to area attractions. Communication from the owner was great. This was our 2nd visit to Nestleinn and can't wait until next time.

Restful Retreat

This home is perfectly situated near many quaint towns for shopping and dining, as well as hiking, falls, and adventurous zip lines and family ropes courses. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and even left gourmet cinnamon rolls for us to bake our first morning there. We can’t wait to come back!

So pleasant! This spacious cabin provided the perfect weekend getaway. Well apportioned and tastefully decorated, we thoroughly enjoyed this centrally located "base camp" for hiking and dining in Highlands.

Beautiful property, great location and great communication from the property manager! We really appreciated the pre-arrival information including restaurants around town. Plus the owner went above and beyond by letting us know about special events happening the weekend that we were in town!

Beautiful Home in a Lovely Setting

We had a wonderful stay at the NestleInn. The house was beautiful, updated, well-stocked, and very clean. Close to activities and only about 20 minutes drive to Highlands. Easiest check in we’ve ever had at a rental home and excellent communication from the owner. Would absolutely stay there again.

Our favorite mountain retreat!

This was our second time staying at Nestle Inn. It’s such a beautiful home! The owner is wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed and even brought delicious cinnamon rolls over. We definitely can’t wait to come back soon!

What a fabulous mother daughter getaway for new years! This is our second visit to Nestle Inn and it is such a cozy home to relax in the mountains. Super easy access to Highlands Outpost for the kids and the cinnamon rolls were fabulous once again. Thank you Linda!

Linda was a great host and her property was just what we were looking for: quiet, clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Very well decorated. It's clear that she put a lot of thought and effort into this property. We'd love to stay here again soon.

My husband, Bill, and I lived in Atlanta for most of our adult lives and in 2004 bought a mountain home on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau in Scaly Mountain. We spent most weekends escaping city life and over the years we started spending more and more time in the mountains. In 2018 we sold our Atlanta house and now live in Scaly Mountain full time. We bought our next-door neighbor's house in the mountains in December 2020 and after 6 months of renovation, it became NestleInn. We look forward to sharing our little piece of paradise with you.
