Amazing Stay

Amazing property at an amazing location. Easy three minute walk to the beach and just a few minutes walk to multiple restaurants and shops. Property owner was very responsive. Our group had an amazing time.

Great location, whole experience could not have worked out better

What is my wife’s 40th birthday and we were able to accommodate friends and family with ease. There is lots to do with the walking distance which made a great.

Perfect for Girls' Weekend

We loved our stay in Wells! We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the property, the quality of the appliances (including an ice maker that kept up with us!), the rooftop firepit and lounge, and the location. It was an easy walk to the beautiful beach. Highly recommended for large groups!

Our group of 17 (five separate families, ages 3 to 86) had an outstanding week-long stay at this property in Maine. Finding a house that comfortably accommodates a multi-generational group of this size is difficult, but this home provided ample space and privacy.The layout accommodated our needs. A first-floor bedroom was utilized by our eldest family member, and having at least one bathroom on every floor added convenience. The dining area was large enough for all 17 of us to eat together, supplemented by counter seating and provided folding tables. The inclusion of three separate kitchens provided extensive refrigerator space, cookware, and plates to support multiple families.The location is excellent. The walk to the beach is short and follows a paved road, making it easily manageable for the toddlers and the 86-year-old without needing a vehicle. Beach towels and chairs were provided, eliminating the need to pack bulky gear.Host communication was excellent. The host met us upon check-in and was proactive throughout the week, stopping by twice to empty the trash for our large group. The home was clean, there were no unexpected maintenance issues, and the house rules were straightforward.

Incredible Stay!

Wow, Cheryl truly went above and beyond to create a comfortable stay for my friends and I a few weeks ago. We had a large group stay at her house for my wedding weekend- the house was huge and everyone was able to have their own bed. There are also multiple showers and clean bathrooms. The house itself is a few minutes away from the beach and has convenient parking. This is THE house to stay at if you are looking at Wells area for your next trip! Thank you again Cheryl! :)

the property was clean and neat and Cheryl was very accommodating My entire family was please.

My only comment is the steps in the house because it is older are very steep and older people need to take that into account. There is a first floor bedroom that they can use however.

Blair vacation

Everything went very smooth. Weather held out except for 1 day of rain. House and amenities were great. Beach and ocean were clean and just a block away. Area was nice for shopping and dining. Had a great time and would do it again.

Awesome experience

Cheryl is an amazing host. The property was clean and stocked with more than what we hoped for. Appliances were top notch. How many others traveling with 8 kids ages 6-0 can say that? Property had plenty of everything including ice.

Maine House

Overall, the house was spacious enough and clean. The first level basement rooms were a bit claustrophobic. It was listed that there was a pool table, which we were looking forward to, but there wasn’t one. We also didn’t know about an 11PM curfew for the upper deck until we got there; with lots of teenaged/college-aged kids wanting to celebrate summer vacation, they had a hard time abiding by that. For over 13k for week, we will probably go with a different location next year.

Group getaway

We rented this beach house for a long weekend with a group of 5 families. The house was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The location is perfect... easy walk to the beach and shops. Cheryl is amazing to work with. She is responsive and accommodating. We had so much fun on the beach, playing games, sitting around the fire pit and even squeezed in a lobster bake. I highly recommend this property to any group!

Great Stay!

What a wonderful stay at this property.. The house is so spacious and clean and plenty to do near by.. So close to the beach!! I loved the wrap around porch in which to relax on while drinking my coffee!! Plenty of kitchen ware for preparing big meals or lobster bakes!! So beautiful inside with plenty of sleeping space for the whole family!! I can't wait to stay here again next year!! Absolutely breathtaking !!!

Meme,Papa, Children and Grandchildren at Wells

First and foremost Cheryl the owner is a true pleasure to work with!! Extremely great host - Thanks Cheryl - you truly made our week a very enjoyable one!! We had a total of 20 in our party and we never ran out of space. I joked that you needed bread crumbs to find your way around. The house was definitely large enough for all to enjoy their space, without any sense of crowding. The house is well equipped -and plenty of nice quality towels, unlike the ones you struggle through with at a hotel! The fact that it was so close to the beach made it easy to come and go as one pleased. The rooftop on the apartment was Meme and Papa's haven after a long fun day at the beach with our grandchildren. I would definitely recommend the house and more importantly Cheryl to all! Thanks again, Cyndi

Great for large groups - any time of year!

7 adult couples (14 total) had plenty of space to enjoy this great house - and no one got stuck with a bunk bed!. One of the key features that is not given enough attention is the roof deck - a great spot for evening fun. A well stocked kitchen, great porch, and plenty of ammenities make this one of the better rental houses I have stayed in. The ladies had great shopping close by, the boys had golf...then an afternoon on the beach was a near perfect day, with GREAT weather in late September. Cheryl is as easy an owner to work with as you can get, and can offer up some great local recommendations. (Hint: do Mike's Clam Shack for a Clam Bake/Lobster bake. Inexpensive, and they cook everything for you...all you have to do is clean up!)

First, I want to thank all of the families and groups who have stayed in the past. It is because of each and every one of you that I continue to strive to provide such a great house for all to enjoy. Many arrive from all over the world and have done so, site on scene. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to see the joy, awe, and happiness on peoples faces when they see the house for the first time. Especially for the group leader who has worked so hard to pull it all together! I keep a journal at the house for all to write in about their week. It is so inspiring to read! It is amazing how many memories have been created and lives touched over the 15 years that I have owned the house.
