Dear Dan, we sincerely apologize for this experience. While we are glad you enjoyed the beauty of the home, we failed you on two fronts: the AC maintenance and, more importantly, our communication. You are absolutely right—if an offer of compensation was made to acknowledge the inconvenience of a dripping ceiling, we should have honored it, regardless of whether you chose to move or stay. It sounds like there was a significant disconnect between our after-hours team and our management team, and we are sorry that our follow-up felt defensive rather than supportive. We are reviewing our internal notes and call logs to identify where this breakdown occurred. We hope you might give us another chance in the future to earn back your trust.
