We had a lovely week relaxing and enjoying the area and this comfortable home. Asheville is close enough for shopping and good eating. We would happily return if visiting the area again.

We loved the views and the house. Will stay again. Only thing I was say to others coming to stay be ready for tight turns and steep inclines heading up to the house.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend making the drive up at night, but it is worth every crook and turn. Probably the most breath taking view of the mountains I have ever seen!!!!

The house was beautiful and well maintained. Had some anxiety getting up the mountain but it was worth it. The views are gorgeous and so is the house. All you need is to bring food and everything is provided by the host. Talked to the host a couple of times and he was gracious and informative. Had the best time especially the sunset. Fabulous! Will definitely recommend for your next vacation spot.

We have been visiting here every year for several years now and it is always the best! The views are unbeatable, the cabin has everything you could possibly need, and Jack and Candace are always great to work with! Can’t wait for next year!

My dream house... View was absolutely amazing; you could even see the clouds forming. I captured the most beautiful pictures over the mountains, as the scenes were everchanging. The house was very spacious and laid out so well. We hope to come again in autumn when possible.

This was our second time at Mountain Laurel Lookout, and it did not disappoint! This cabin is by far the most comfortable, well-laid out, and well supplied place we’ve stayed in. But the very best part is the BEAUTIFUL views! We spent so much of our time on the deck just soaking in the majesty around us! My family literally never wants to leave the cabin! ALSO, we had a tornado warning while we were there. Candace called to check on us, told us where to go for safety, and then let us know when the danger was over. Their care and concern was very appreciated! Thank you, Millers! Looking forward to our next visit!

We had an amazing time! The house and views were amazing we can’t wait to go back! The host were great and responded quickly to every question, and left thorough directions for checking and checking out and stuff around the area. 10 out of 10 experience.

We absolutely loved the views. The sunsets were incredible. The hosts were very helpful and Jack replied right away to our request for help with the television sound issue we had. We enjoyed playing air hockey and board games downstairs in the evening and getting some fresh mountain air for a couple days. Driving up and down the steep hill to the cabin was definitely a new experience, but we didn’t have any trouble in our rental car.

What a stunning property! We stayed for two nights after a few days in Asheville and were just in awe of the view, in fact most of our time was spent on the chairs on the deck admiring the mountains. It was an adventure getting to the house, the hosts left very clear and helpful instructions. There is a house right next door which we weren’t expecting, but was still very private. Would 100% recommend to friends and would visit again without hesitation. Also Old Fort was very small but the restaurants were a very pleasant surprise, very fun to explore the town and Black Mountain.
