Absolutely wonderful property in the Gateway mountain area. We have been staying in this area for several years now, but this was our first time at Jack and Candace's property. The owners were incredibly helpful and communicative, the property was even better than listed, and we had a great stay. Wonderful property in a very private mountain community. This is a great place to stay -- thank you to the owners for a great visit.

This is such a Gem of a location! The views were amazing, and it was stocked with anything you may need. We had an easy time cooking two of the nights we were there, and it really felt like home away from home. We were greated by various wildlife throughout our stay, and were lucky enough to see a young black bear in the morning from a respectable distance. Such a delight and a fond memory to reflect on as a family in the future. The hosts were so sweet and very responsive! We loved the extra touch of a guest book in the living room as well. This is certainly on our list to stay at again, and we are so thankful to have found it!

This was a perfect mountain cabin with an amazing view. The cabin was very clean, and had everything you could possibly need! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We left wishing we had one more day!

This place is the perfect getaway and the hosts have thought of everything to make your stay as comfy and enjoyable as possible. The cabin and the views are beautiful! We will be booking again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was exactly as described, cozy, and had an incredible view. The host provided a lot of information before check in which was very helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

Fantastic accommodations. Everything was clean, and beautiful views as promised. Instructions to the cabin were clear. Really didn’t require any interaction with the hosts as everything was explained in detail. Loved it and would recommend to anyone.

A truly beautiful cabin with a fantastic view! The house was super clean and the check-in and checkout process was very easy! We spent a ton of time on the porch just enjoying the view and there were several areas to do that comfortably. Would definitely be back next visit!

Beautiful Retreat

Property views are even prettier than pictures, annd house is wonderful inside and out. Owners were great to communicate with before and during stay. Enjoyed Hillman brewery in Old Fort after day on boat rental at Lake Lure.

One of the most beautiful places we have stayed

We loved eating outside while watching the mountains and waking up to the incredible view. Property was clean with clear directions for access. Some amazing wildlife around - we saw a bear crossing the street on the way up!
