Great house to stay in. Amazing view. Close to Petoskey and other place you may wanna visit in that area. The communication was absolutely amazing!! House could use a little update, But overall a great place. The outside fire pit was so fun and they supplied wood which is very nice. They helped me get champagne and flowers for a surprise gift for our anniversary which was very helpful!! Will definitely stay again.

NIce place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oden House was a nice place to stay for our "girls weekend (adults)". The home has nice character and we found the property to be as described and well equipped. The home was clean and well maintained. We didn't have any issues and the communication before, during and after our stay was wonderful and very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a northern Michigan getaway. We visited downtown Harbor Springs for some shopping, Pond Hill Farms for Dueling Pianos and beverage tasting along with some other local breweries/wineries. We finished off with brunch at Brutus Camp Inn.

Near mackinaw city home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very quant older home furniture was not comfortable in living room and kitchen needs an update and thorough cleaning. The road was very busy house sits very near and on a curve so very cautious about turning left onto road. Was nice size enough bedrooms to accommodate all 8 guest who stayed.

We loved staying here. Great location for our ski plans, with plenty of options for dining within a short drive. The house was lovely. Very spacious, comfortable, well equipped and clean. we also enjoyed the record player! Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog.Thanks for a great stay!

The home was really lovely and it was so nice to have a bedroom and bathroom for each of my friends and myself. The view was amazing and we loved sitting on the veranda, looking at the lovely lake. Unfortunately, we did not realize that it was on a busy road so it was a little loud. Some other feedback we wanted to share, is some of the furniture could use some updating. The sectional is very dated, uncomfortable and dips in the middle. One of the 2 armchairs seemed newer. Honestly, the most comfortable place to sit, is the dining room, which definitely, was updated with beautiful comfortable furniture.

Nice big house!

Great location, easy to get to many local destinations. There is a great pie shop a few steps down the road. Beds were comfortable and home had lots of room for groups.

The house was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The bedrooms had very good beds with comfortable linens. The kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed the big fenced in yard for the kids. The location was good and close to the bigger towns and the beaches.

Lake view was wonderful, we spent a lot of time on the porch where there was plenty of seating for the 7 adults we had. Location was a short drive to Petoskey and a few wineries in the area. Everyone had their own space/bathrooms and beds were very comfortable. Would gladly book again!

Relaxing and peaceful with plenty of space

We had a great stay. The house has lots of character and there was plenty of room for all of us! Great location close to Petoskey and right across from the lake.

Holiday Vacation

Family of 9 stayed at the Oden House over the Holidays. The layout and bedrooms are great for a large gathering. This was the second time renting this property and highly recommend.

Fit our needs perfectly

Great location. Surprisingly large. Loved that every room had its own bathroom. Owners were a delight to work with and made the check in and checkout process simple and seamless.
