The house is amazing and was perfect for all of us. The kids loved the pool and we were happy to have the bikes. The kitchen was stocked, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. It was clean when we got there and I hope we left it just as clean when we left. We loved having all of us together in this wonderful house. It was a great family vacation.

Amazing property

The house was just as pictured, well maintained and well stocked with everything we needed. We had an amazing family vacation. Beach was close, pool was great. Highly recommend for your stay.

Quiet Getaway

We loved our stay. The community was private and friendly. Location was close to everything. Owner was super to work with! Would come back again!

Very clean. Very roomy and accommodating for my family. Plenty of sleeping options and overall very pleased with the hospitality.

Beautiful property

Our family of 6 absolutely adored this property. Very clean and incredibly beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. Short walk to the pool which we enjoyed every day of our trip! Highly recommend renting here.

Playa Bella did not disappoint! Caroline, the host, was so nice and helpful to communicate with. I would stay here again if visiting the area.

Great place, central to many beaches

We had a great stay at this property! The owner was fantastic and communicated with us easily, the place was beautiful and very clean, just as described. The location was great for visiting many nearby attractions and beaches. The house was close enough to bike to Bethany Beach, although we did not. Overall we loved our stay and would stay here again.

The house is very spacious and the screened-in gazebo affords lots of relaxing time with no fear of bugs.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood that was close to the beach. I made the comment several times that it didn't feel like a rental, it felt like home. The house was immaculate and nicely decorated. Not having to bring sheets and towels was an added bonus. The host checked in with us periodically and we didn't have any issues. Great family vacation.

Beautiful and comfortable home

Lovely home in friendly neighborhood. Found Fenwick State Park less crowded and more enjoyable beach. Nice local restaurants and the house had a wonderful kitchen to make meals there. Pool in neighborhood very nice.

We had a great stay at this home. Caroline was an amazing host who provided tons of information and was very responsive to our questions and needs. The house book was an amazing resource we found ourselves thumbing through daily! The house is wonderful and our teenage children all enjoyed their spaces and we loved the master suite. The only downside was the vacation went by too fast, we'd have loved more time. We loved capping off the trip with game night in the gazebo the last night. Thanks for a great experience!

My family and I have been coming to the Maryland / Delaware beaches for many years. I have to say that Playa Bella was probably the cleanest, best equipped and most comfortable property that we have ever rented. The arrival and check out process was very easy. House was as just as described and shown in the pictures. Beds were comfortable. The gazebo was great. It is screened and has a ceiling fan. My family had coffee there every morning to plan our day. Since the World Cup was in full swing we had a foosball tournament one evening in the garage which was fun. The dining table was large enough to accommodate all nine of us for meals and cards. It is a great location. About 10 minutes from the town of Bethany and 15 or 20 minutes from the Delaware State beaches at Indian River and Fenwick Island. Our host Caroline was great! She had left a short note, bottle of wine and some candies to welcome us. There was one problem when we first checked in. Caroline and I communicated back and forth without any issues. Caroline contacted her team and problem was resolved completely and quickly. Never got to use the pool but it looked nice. We would definitely recommend staying here!

I was very pleased with the house and stayed in communication with the owner. She actually text me to make sure my family and I were ok and if we needed anything. I will definitely be going back. I never felt so comfortable as i did in her house.

Staying at Playa Bella

We arrived early as the owner let us know it was ready. She welcomed us with lovely cards and treats. The home was lovely and very clean as described. Games, movies, bikes. Spa style bath products. Well equipped kitchen, open living area. I highly recommend this property. Very close to beach, boardwalk, restaurants. Charming trolley service. Highly recommend this for families, multi generation family friendly. Also, if you are coming from NJ you can board the Cape May ferry and relax for just over an hour and possibly see dolphins and 2 lighthouses.

Perfect House

Prior to our arrival I was a little suspicious that the house would be as good as the reviews said….it didn’t disappoint! After staying at many houses in many locations, this was probably the best house our group has ever rented. The hosts have thought of everything you might need and everything you didn’t think you would need. Linens, bath products, kitchen supplies, beach items, books, games, etc. are all provided. Communication with the host is easy and she seems to actually care if you have any issues during your stay- not that we had any. The house was clean and ready for our stay, quick to check in and easy check out. There were so many thoughtful details and I would definitely stay again or recommend to others. The only thing that could have been better was if it was walkable to the beach but we knew before renting that it was not so it’s not a deal breaker. If you’re on the fence, go for it!

Terrific place

In all this years renting houses, this is the best host I have ever had. The house in immaculately clean, communication is excellent. the house is fully stocked with high quality cooking tools. Bath towels, linens, great beds. It's just nice not to have to buy oil or spices. If you don't mind a short drive to the beach or a 10 minute walk to the pool (with a toddler), you should get this place. Now, because this review is intended to help future guests let me point some things that might be helpful. The good, the hosts communication, the house is amazing, the couches, the beds, everything is really comfortable and easy to use. Things to keep in mind: The description does a good job at explaining it but just in case you need to know that the property isn't walking distance from the beach and that the roads around it have heavy traffic and it will be a bit of a challenge to ride a bike to the beach to be honest. The pool is a nice 10 minute walk from the house, we don't mind it, but you should be aware that is not super close if you plan to carry toys for the kids, etc, you might need to drive. It's a mixed income community, some beautiful houses and some apartments. We had people listening to loud music in a boom box in the pool. It is what it is and we might have had bad luck, but in general, there is a mixed crowd in the pool. The check out process is a bit longer than in other places. It took us 2 hrs by the time we were done with all the requests for check out.

And you’re right, walking to the pool with a toddler must be a task, ha ha… We never do, but our kids are teens, so we bike everywhere, especially to the beach, thanks to the bike lanes all the way. I am sorry it took you that long to check out. I try to keep it to the minimum (and no cleaning of any sort…) but I understand it must be cumbersome with a toddler and a baby to handle while getting ready. I remember those times… it is hectic. The house was really perfect! All the rooms were spacious, clean and fresh and all the things that we needed was there.The host was really hospitable and answered our questions really fast and the guest instructions was really good. It was great to have the bicycles to get around to places quick and easy to avoid taking the car everyware. The neighborhood was nice and quiet with some elements of wildlife.

This home was just what we needed for our family Girls Beach week - roomy, clean, well stocked with every amenity from coffee cups to Q-tips, beach chairs and umbrellas, bikes pool towels and passes. Plenty of indoor space to gather or find a quiet nook, plus lovely outdoor dinning on deck and gazebo with view of pond. Nice central location with Dewey, Bethany, Fenwick Island and Assateague and OC short drives away! Our host Caroline was courteous and knowledgeable, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

Our host, Caroline, was very available and responsive to messages. She gave welcome messages with helpful hints about the house and area amenities, and also gave a succinct synopsis about checkout, which was great. The house is beautiful, and the kitchen clean and stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes - even had cute "kid friendly" dinnerware. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the porch and gazebo and enjoyed our snacks and meals out there. The neighborhood is quiet and good for walking or biking, and short drives from grocery/ or convenience stores.
