We enjoyed the kayaks,paddle boards, and the fire pit. The porch was way too hot to sleep in so we had to use the couch for our son to sleep on. Everything was well stocked! Thank you for having some fishing poles.... we had alot of fun and some great fishing from the dock!

My parents and I stayed there for a memorial for their longtime friend of 62 years. The lake house was perfect. It was only a half mile from our friends on portage Lake! Definitely will rent again

Had a great time with family at this wonderful lakeside home. Fully furnished. Plenty of room and great fishing from the private dock.

Cute house, great location

Located within minutes from Park Rapids and 20 to Itasca. Great amenities, house was perfectly remodeled. Would stay here and and am sure you won’t be disappointed. Parking area is a bit tight, especially if you have a boat and trailer, but do-able.

Whispering Pines Cabin Get-a-Way

We enjoyed our stay very much. We needed a place to relax and unwind and this cabin on Portage Lake did the trick. The cabin itself was nice and clean with pretty much everything a person would need. The sunrise and sunset on the lake was absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend Whispering Pines Cabin.

Thank You for staying! We agree that the sunsets and sunrises are amazing. We try to provide anything we would enjoy during a relaxing stay, so we are open to new ideas. We have lots of yard games, games, movies, paddle boards and kayaks, life jackets, swim raft, fire pit area, outdoor lights, grill and outdoor tables, a few toys and art supplies for children, adult coloring and word puzzle books, as well as a variety of books for reading.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed the amount of space for all of us to spread out during our stay. The listing did have a hot tub but there wasn’t one and we were disappointed by that. It was still a great stay.

Cabin is as advertised. Clean, nice beach and open areas for the family to gather in. Flat yard up top to play yard games on. A great stay. Thank you.

Getaway!!

Nice and inviting lakehouse large kitchen family room area. Wonderful table to do puzzles!! Great location, really easy to access nearby trails.

Great Family Space

We had a great time here!! Well stocked home and lots of indoor and outdoor toys for both kids and adults. The sandy beach, raft, kayaks and paddle boards were the favorites!! The separate 3 season porch was great for the kids to play on the rainy days!

Labor Day Weekend Fun

We had a great time at Whispering Pines. The weather was very Hot but we made the best of by staying busy. We caught some fish on the lake too. It was a great place to end our summer!

Whispering Pines is the place to be

Nice clean, quiet cabin with lots of room to relax in. We had really good luck fishing too! Never a dull moment and we didn’t want our vacation to end. Very happy with our experience at Whispering Pines on Portage Lake.
