We were looking for a clean, comfortable place to host extended family so we could attend a wedding in Menahga and this VRBO fit the bill! I did not realize the bunk house room was a different building than the main home on the property but it worked great for a place for the younger members of our family (the 20 year olds). Host Steven was excellent with communication!

The property was set at the end of a dead end, so it was very quiet and peaceful. View over the lake was breathtaking at sunset. The house accommodated us nicely. Lake levels were very low this year and Blueberry Lake is shallow. Had to manually pull my boat up to the dock. The grounds were nice and open. Deck was great, although a larger table would have been nice. Overall, this was a great place to spend a week. My dog really enjoyed it, too.

Amazing retreat

Beautiful, secluded cabin on a nice quiet lake. It was a wonderful getaway for the entire family. Close enough to Park Rapids for quick access to all the shops. Good fishing on Blueberry lake.

Overall a lovely private property with a peaceful setting But the boat house did not offer a kayak paddle for the kayak and out of the four canoe paddles two were only sized for kids. The game room was nice but the air hockey table has seen better days in terms of the pucks and sliders. Went during an unusually dry summer but lake front was full of lake muck and was not swimmable. Still accessible for a paddle boat or canoe but has to drag items through gross water.

Lovely Lakefront Home

Lovely lakefront home with lots of parking space. The location was fantastic and accommodated all of my guests nicely. The home was clean and well stocked. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Beautiful lake retreat

We loved our stay in Blueberry Lodge. A sunny, well-laid-out home that would comfortably accommodate one family or multiple families, it has a comfortable living area, kitchen, and three season porch attached to the main house and a fun game room in a separate building. For our visit in 2025, there were lots of options for games and activities, as well as canoes and a pedal boat. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

We couldn't have asked for a better place for our family to stay. The pool table and air hockey in the game room was perfect for the couple of days it rained. The place was very well stocked with everyday items. Exactly as advertised as far as the peacefulness and seclusion. Host handled all questions in a very timely manner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Everything we could have wanted for our vacation. Plenty of space. Beautiful views of the lake. Peaceful and quiet. Lots of extras too! Game room, kayak, canoes, firewood. Who could ask for more?? Property manager was helpful and very responsive to our questions and requests. Truly a wonderful place.

Secluded and Peaceful, as advertised

The property on Blueberry Lake was just as we hoped. The home was clean, well cared for, and had all the supplies one would expect for a comfortable stay. The only (minor) issue that we had was figuring out how the electronic lock worked at the time of arrival. Once we understood, it was was no issue for the rest of the stay. We had a beautiful fall vacation that was topped by excellent fishing!

Plenty of space

Very clean and accomodating. We had a wedding and we had plenty of space to spread out for visitors. From the 3 seasons porch, deck, and rec room. Large kitchen. Air conditioned, even the rec room. Teens enjoyed their privacy and we enjoyed ours. End of the road, very peaceful. We loved it.

This was the most lovely lake home. My teenagers loved staying in the bunkhouse above the game room. It was plenty of space for the six of us to spread out and relax. The fishing off the dock was great each day . Everyone appreciated the kind use of the canoes and pettle boat. We went swimming at the beach in Menahga and had ice cream. I can’t recommend this beautiful place highly enough! The beds are very comfortable, the entire place is super clean and the views are just perfect. We had a quick day trip to Itasca but really enjoyed relaxing on the dock and around our evening campfires. The owners have created a very special place that is welcoming and very clean. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible home with our family. We had a wonderful time making memories together with our children and their grandfather. Would absolutely love to visit again.

Beautiful view from inside the home, outside on the deck and canoeing on the lake. Lovely all around

The pool table in the pool hall was an added bonus for our teens.
