I’ll start by saying this is a HUGE space and makes good use of the common areas (lots of couches, large dining table etc) which is oddly hard to find in large cabins. I also loved that there was a small screened in porch with a table so we could play cards in the fresh air. The decor is overall very cute and tasteful and we loved the hot tub. But there were a few functional issues including very low water pressure (the top floor shower didn’t work and the fridge does not dispense ice and water comes out at a glacial pace (pun not intended). We also couldn’t get the fireplace to turn on after following the instructions left which was a bummer. Again overall very cute and spacious but the functionality issues kept it from 5 stars!

Beautiful getaway!

House was beautiful and spacious! Beds were super comfortable and the ice maker was amazing!! Already talking about coming back for a weekend getaway!

Family memories made

What a great stay at the Hazy Hideaway. Everything was as described and we were very comfortable and cozy during our stay. The home was spacious and well kept.

Beautiful Home for a Girls’ Weekend

My group of teacher girlfriends had a great time staying at Hazy Hideaway! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed! We loved the very organized and well equipped kitchen. The rooms were all very comfortable. The views were stunning! We’d love to stay here again!

80th birthday weekend

We had a family of 9 adults. We enjoyed the trip. The bedroom with twin beds is definitely more suitable for children.

Beautiful Home

The home was perfect for our stay. No issues at all. The furnishings were well above the norm for a rental cabin. We especially enjoyed the peaceful sound of the river below the cabin. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Lovely and peaceful

We loved the quiet peaceful atmosphere. Other than having a bit of difficulty figuring out the lighting, the house met our needs perfectly. The river was inaccessible but the view from the deck was lovely and the sound of the river along with the bird songs was soothing.

UGA takes on Clemson

Our family stayed in the cabin during Labor Day weekend. We had tickets to the UGA/Clemson game, and the cabin was close enough to the stadium, and it was a peaceful weekend getaway. The cabin was just as described, and the pictures were accurate. Everything was great.

Great Weekend - Caring Host.

A great weekend in the snow. It was all beautiful, inside and out. The cabin had everything we needed to be snowed/iced in for a couple of days. And when the conditions were not good to get out on the roads, the host offered us another night so we could wait for the ice to melt and be safe. (Thank you! - We were able to leave that day by 3pm.) A great place to stay!

Great property in the woods!

The home was great for our annual family reunion of 10. The view of the mountains and creek below was beautiful. We had plenty of room and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed as we prepared most of our meals at the cabin. The hot tub was not working when we arrived, and the maintenance man contacted me shortly after we arrived and made sure that the hot tub was fixed that very day. We will come back to this area again. Thank you!
