We loved so much about this property - close to Blue Ridge, good wifi, plentiful bedrooms and bathrooms, and great communication with the host! There are just a few tiny things that could elevate this stay to outstanding - cleaner floors, kitchen being a little better stocked, a few more towels, etc - but nothing that would keep us from staying there again. We enjoyed the fire pit area (with a visit from a deer!), the hot tub, and eating out on the deck. Overall, a great stay!

The bedding and towels needed to be cleaned with better quality soaps, and dried more effectively, The clean towels that were provided smelled of mildew after use of the shower. Other than that the place was easy to find and in a great location. It was close to all restaurants and fun activities like Mercier Orchards, and the cute downtown area where you can ride the scenic railroad tour. There was no Mountain View but the scenery of all the trees was beautiful from the balcony. Hot tub took a bit of time to warm up but I think that might be normal. My family and I would definitely stay there again in the future :)

The property was very nice and the hosts communicated a lot prior to the visit and responsive while we were there. Note, that there are a lot of stairs so be aware if you have mobility issues. Otherwise it was a great location, close to "downtown" and a winery. The home was equipped with GREAT wifi - no connectivity issues at all. Me and my family had a great memorable time.

The property is very clean and well kept. The only concern that I had is that the jacuzzi seems to not stay on and the ice maker does not produce ice .

We absolutely loved our stay at The Fox Cottage! My boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate his birthday, and it was the perfect couples getaway. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and exactly as pictured. It had everything we needed to relax and unwind. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the peaceful atmosphere, and all of the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. The location was convenient to downtown Blue Ridge while still feeling private and secluded. Communication from the host was excellent, and check-in was simple and stress-free. This was exactly the break we needed, and we left already talking about coming back. I highly recommend The Fox Cottage to anyone looking for a memorable mountain getaway!

The home was amazing. There is Bear Claw winery that we found right around the corner from the house. Mercier Winery is amazing too. This home is in a great central location to several hiking places and waterfalls. I highly recommend this property to stay at. We will be back.

The hot tub was wonderful. The fire pit was a favorite and can cause S'more overload lol.The pool table was a nice touch as well. The Host was the best at responding to all communication.The cabin was large enough to accommodate our family of 7. The floorplane was great for blended families or couples.We can't wait to visit again!!

The hosts were super responsive and very easy to work with. The house was great and well kept. We did not get to use the fire pit due to the rain, but it was well set up. The hot tub was so relaxing.

Thanksgiving Family Getaway

This was a perfect place for our entire family to come together and celebrate the holiday. Plenty of room and the game room was nice.

We understand this was a pet friendly property and that was what we needed however it smelled very much like pets that weren't well trained had stayed there. Every toilet seat was loose and it isn't really within my vacation wish list to fix toilets. the pictures are pretty dated considering some of the wear and tear on the property including the firepit. I also would like to point out that it is a LOUD house you hear everything everywhere. The king bed is on the upper floor sharing a bathroom with a queen bed. This is also the smallest of the bathrooms. I ended up going down stairs to the main floor to shower. All the vent fans were very dusty as if they haven't been cleaned in quite sometime and the main bathroom didn't have a toilet paper holder which turning to get paper from the back of toilet on a barely attached seat was precarious. The Freezer ice maker was broken as best I could tell. Also the pool table wasn't very useable as the side bumper rails were not good. It was a place to land if that was all you were looking for but not an enjoyable place to hang out. also the main levels floor was pretty saggy and soft.

We took the whole family for a couple of nights to unplug, and this mountain house was just what we needed. The front porch mornings were peaceful, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind, and the space felt cozy and welcoming. It gave us the chance to slow down, relax, and really enjoy our time together. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a little reset in the mountains!

We chose this destination as our family lodging for our Ocoee White Water Rafting trip. Everyone enjoyed our accommodations. Group of 7. Lots of room for all. Grilled and enjoyed family dinner and relaxing by fire pit with s’mores. And the game room was a primary destination for all.

Family of 10 get away

It was a great place and very accessible to Blue Ridge. No steep hills to drive up. Property was clean and furnished and we didn't have to clean before we left, which was really nice with 10 people. Owners were very helpful.

The location was ideal with an easy drive to Blue Ridge and the surrounding areas. It was close to attractions, yet very private. We enjoyed the fire pit and large covered deck with plenty of seating for our entire group. Sleeping areas on all three levels allowed us to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pans, dishes, small appliances, and utensils we needed. It was all clean and new looking. Brandon was a great host and responded quickly when we had a couple questions.

Cozy and comfy cabin in the woods!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating a birthday. In fact, we extended our stay an additional day and would have loved to stay longer. The cabin was clean, plenty of room for 10 adult, and the prefect location. A hot tub and fire pit has been added to my wishlist at home! Overall, great stay, friendly property owners, and will definitely return again!
