Mahalo for your review and wonderful feedback, we are pleased that you enjoyed the home overall, with a convenient location and helpful team. The assistance needed with wifi was reported and we would have sent someone right away to take care of the floors as well, however we were not notified of that issue We hope to welcome you back when the time is right for you, Aloha.

Mahalo Julia. We look forward to hosting you again soon.

Hi Ren, Thank you for the kind words, we really try hard to give our guests great value in the house. Please come back often! Take advantage of the 5% discount we give for each repeat visit, up to 20% off the fifth and subsequent visits. Since we don't raise rents much, we have guests returning next year for less than they paid in 2009. Thank you again for choosing our house. Buzz and Valorie Wisda

Thank you, Robin, for the kind words! Please return often and take advantage of our return-guest discounts. Buzz and Valorie Wisda

Hi Brian, Thank you for the kind words. We try hard to give everyone a great experience. Come back often and take advantage of our return guest discounts. For future guests, we do not provide a full-sized surfboard. It was supposed to be locked in the owner's closet. Buzz and Valorie Wisda

The previous guests had let something rot in the refrigerator and we scrubbed it several times, including after this family left. There was no time to do anything else. It is a fairly new Samsung refrigerator. As far as I know, our property manager responded immediately to all their issues. I had checked the batteries in all the smoke detectors the day before they arrived, and no one is quite sure why the smoke detectors started chirping. The guests disabled the smoke detectors and we had a handyman fix the problem when they left. Regarding the bathroom situation, our VRBO listing says all three bathrooms are on the same floor as the bedrooms, two are ensuite and the third is across the hall from the third bedroom and at the bottom of the stairs.

Hi Leah, Thank you for your great review and don't forget the return guest discounts we offer! We don't supply any foodstuffs like olive oil or seasonings (other than salt and pepper), because of liability reasons and because we don't think most guests want to use food or fixings left by previous guests. But some guests don't mind using them so the maids only discard anything that might spoil or has just a little left. Soy sauce is a good example; it should be refrigerated after opening but guests leave it in the cupboard so it has to be removed. We try to let everyone know that they are welcome to use whatever is in the kitchen, but if opened bottles of stuff bothers them they should get new ones. We started providing the to-go cups when we noticed how many cups and glasses went missing from the house. Buzz

Thank you for the kind review; we work hard on the houses and we are most happy you had a great vacation! Come back often! We give return guests a 5% discount for each return visit, up to 20% off the fifth and subsequent visits. Aloha, Buzz and Valorie Wisda

Mahalo Annie for taking the time to leave a review and share your feedback. First off, we are so happy that you enjoyed the location and size of the property. We are glad that you had enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. We do want to apologize again for the delayed check-in and the mix-up regarding the keys. We understand this was not an ideal situation after a long day of travel. We are glad that it did get sorted out and that you were able to get in and settled quickly. The home is advertised with a Deluxe interior rating. While this means it hasn’t been updated recently, it also means that everything should be clean and well-maintained. We will be sure to inspect the items you describe and make the necessary recommendations to the owner to have them repaired or replaced. We will also take care of the pack-and-play you mentioned. This is not standard equipment in our rentals and we often suggest guests rent the baby gear they might need for their stay. We look forward to hosting you again soon. Aloha.
