One of the most luxurious oceanfront Kauai vacation rental resorts in Poipu, Whaler’s Cove offers serenity and intimacy. Whalers Cove is beautiful and quiet. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the location is ideal. There was plenty of room for a family of five to settle in and make it a home away from home for a week. The view from the lanai is the most spectacular feature of this vacation rental. We saw turtles daily and a pod of more than 50 dolphins. We were able to day trip to all sides of the island very easily. Loved our stay and highly recommend Whalers Cove.

Loved everything! Kitchen is well equipped, elevator for getting stuff in and out really helpful. Loved Poipu and Koloa area! Used fans a lot, even in early March. Air conditioning would be really nice, but then couldn’t leave doors wide open. Thanks for the beach stuff! ( chairs, cooler, umbrellas, snorkels, beach toys.)

This is a dated property (old decor, screen doors are rickety, one TV broken) that is billed as premium plus and luxurious. It's nice, but it's neither premium plus nor luxurious. Most importantly, the unit DOES NOT HAVE AC! This wouldn't be a problem if the management company disclosed that information on the website - it does not. And they are fully aware that the unit has no AC, as evidenced by my numerous communications with them after we got to the property. When I told them that they should state on the property description that there is no AC, they said I should have asked the property owner, whom is paying them to represent them, so

The views from this unit were to die for.We liked this quiet mellow place. Very few people around the pool. No problem getting a lounge chair.Not really our style with the old Tommy Bahama look but it didn’t matter. The unit is well stocked and comfortable.

This condo was a 100% perfect getaway for our Kauai stay, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience here. The condo was as pictured, only better in person. The unit was exceptionally clean and, aside from a minor issue with a freezer drawer that was difficult to close, everything worked properly. The property managers were very responsive as we had an issue with the room safe not opening (probably user error). Reached out to the management company and they sent someone over within 30 minutes to fix it. Most of the building we stayed in was empty during our stay so we felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves. We absolutely LOVED hearing the ocean waves just outside the bedroom sliding glass door during the night. The property is located on Hanakaʻape Bay. We watched many sea turtles swimming in the bay right from the condo deck. Each morning, we enjoyed watching the snorkelers and divers explore the bay. There is an access to Hanakaʻape Bay directly from the condo parking lot. We snorkeled one afternoon, but the currents were too strong for us to safely navigate independently. If you're interested in snorkeling there, I recommend doing so as part of a tour group. The peace and privacy this unit offered were unparalleled. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend! We'll definitely rebook this condo if/when we return to Kauai,

This was a gorgeous condo with a perfect cozy Hawaiian feel. Plenty of space for 4 adults and two small children. Quality build with low noise, as we could not hear our friends and their children in the upstairs rooms. Amazing views, easily accessible, responsive staff, comfortable, great location, great pool. Snorkeling right by the condo and small beach great for children within walking distance. Everything you need is close by. Only downside was the sliding screen door wouldn’t open/close, hot tub jets were broken/not working, and the condo has no AC. None of these things made it a bad stay. Would stay here again.

Great location!

Loved that it is right on the water, waves crashing on the rocks just below, and that it is an end unit so is very private. Great spot in Poipu, being near restaurants and shops and easy access to roads to other areas. Super comfortable, especially the beds, sheets and towels. Kitchen had everything we needed. No a/c, but didn't need it this time of year as it is very breezy there. Didn't use the pool area but looked very nice. Really enjoyed the place!

Magical stay at Whalers Cove. The location was unbeatable — oceanfront, peaceful, and an easy walk to shops and dining. We spent so much time on the lanai because the views were incredible from sunrise to sunset.Even without AC, the windows and ocean breeze kept the condo perfectly comfortable for our June stay.The pool was a dream — the perfect temperature, refreshing but never cold, and often completely uncrowded. Several times we had it entirely to ourselves, which made it feel like a private retreat.A wonderfully comfortable, relaxing stay. We’d return in a heartbeat.
