What a perfect four days at a cabin! It was an ideal cabin for my husband, and and two labradors when we could get them out of the lake. Very cozy, we loved the wood-burning stove. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything just seemed so shiny and new.The host was amazing with correspondence.Thank you for a wonderful stay

Enjoyed this beautiful property!! Quiet and peaceful location, but still close to town. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and exploring the area. Anne is a great host, cabin was amazing and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!!

I looked at lots of pet-friendly places before I stumbled upon this wonderful spot! The location is so peaceful, it’s a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I’m definitely planning to book it again when I’m back in Maine, especially since my fur-baby is welcome!

Had a nice relaxing time with our kids and dogs! The stars at night were incredible and watching the sunset from the dock was beautiful! Only 11 minutes from machias where we got groceries, food, and went to small shops. Such a peaceful place to stay.

This was my first VRBO experience. Wonderful little cabin, just what you imagine staying in on a lake in Maine. Beautiful setting and a wonderful little place to spend some down time. Loved the fireplace, I haven’t used one since I was a kid. My daughters loved the canoe, and exploring around. Highly recommendI

This cabin ahas all the modern comfort you will need to enjoy your time at the lake. Our granddaughters loved it as well as our 2 labs. Anne was exceptional at quickly answering all our questions. The improvements that were made I believe in 2023, they definitely spared no expense they were done right and looks to have taken thought as to the comfort as well as the general beauty of it and keeping with nature and not destroying any of it, right down to the beautiful large boulders made into steps. We appreciated all that went into the remodel, and how well the cabin was stocked. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this little Beauty on the lake.

This is a wonderful place to say whether in Summer or Winter. The accommodations are very comfortable and quiet. As we stayed in Winter the lake was frozen over and we felt like the only people in the world.

Host was very helpful and communicated well. Cabin itself was great, very comfortable and had what we needed. Canoes were a nice touch! Would stay again if I ever find myself in Maine in the future!

Anne was a lovely host and very communicative. The Cabin was clean and everything was very comfortable. Loved being able to have our Sr. dog with us and the morning sunrise/evening sunsets could not be beat!

We loved the cabin, very clean and cozy, wood burning stove was great, it's location the fire pit and the canoe, the neighborhood was great for walking. Star gazing was amazing, Owner very responsive and knowledgeable about the surroundings. Would definitely enjoy returning to your cabin. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Peaceful Escape

Not only is the cabin gorgeous but the location and the property could not be better for a quiet escape in the woods. The pups loved swimming in the lake. The star viewing is also unmatched. The whole experience is perfect.

Great place to unplug and enjoy the outdoors! My husband and i really enjoyed our visit. The cabin is well equipped, comfortable and super clean. Hoping to get back some day!

The workmanship and thoughtful design of this brautiful cottage is amazing. One if the most relaxing few days we have ever had. We used the canoe toexplore the lake!

Lakeside Living

Cute and rustic cabin on a lake....what else do you need? The owner is very responsive along with the caretaker. Highly recommend.Take the canoe out for a sunset, you won't regret it.
