Great family stay!

Nice place. Perfect for families with children. We loved taking the kayaks out onto the lake. Great communication with Kathleen! :)

Very small bathroom. Toilet was cramped. Loud noise coming from locked part of basement.

Thank you for your feedback. While our bathroom is compact, we do our best to reflect this accurately in our listing photos so guests know what to expect. To complement the space, there is also a large outdoor shower that guests absolutely love. For context, the sound you heard downstairs is our dehumidifier running intermittently to ensure the home stays dry and comfortable. We stayed at this lovely property while visiting friends and found it so relaxing and beautiful, see picture below taken from the front porch, too bad I can't add the sound of the owl. I was impressed with the level of detail the owners took to insure that the home was stocked with anything we might need.

Amazing view

We enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect base for visiting family in the area. The house had plenty of room for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view over the pond was amazing! Unfortunately there was rain so we didn’t get to use the deck or fire pit but maybe next time. Would definitely stay here again.

Retreat was the correct description!

The property was as promised, a retreat for sure! Katie was very responsive, and tended to all the details. The view was beautiful and the fireflies were amazing. It was a great place to get away and unhook.

Enjoyable stay in Vermont Countryside

My wife and I and our 4 teenagers enjoyed our stay at the Lake Lodge on Ticklenaked Pond. The kitchen and living room were well stocked with kitchenware/seating and the decor was modern and very welcoming! The wrap around deck is one of the sing stars of this property as every morning we sat outside drinking a cup of coffee and listening to the birds, frogs, and other various wildlife. The view of the pond was equally nice both in the morning and at sunset. My son used the outdoor shower and there was plenty of hot water. If you haven’t stayed in Vermont in the early summer, you will encounter some bugs and insects outside. There were a few in the downstairs part of the cabin when we first arrived late in the evening, but after a day of staying there we didn’t see anymore downstairs. When traveling to Vermont, we will not hesitate to stay here again!
