Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and beach access. We sincerely apologize for the initial A/C and pool heat concerns; the AC was resolved the same evening upon arrival and the pool/spa heat as quickly as possible once reported. To help offset the inconvenience at the start of your stay, we also provided a $150 gift card. While we always aim to ensure a seamless experience, construction on neighboring properties is outside of our control. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother stay in the future.

Yes, we do charge extra for pool heat which is explained in the online listed in and in the rental agreement. It was extremely hot the week that you spend on Hilton Head Island but I am happy to report that the home owner is looking to upgrade his HVAC systems this fall! Thank you again for being our guest, and we look forward to your next visit with Vacation Homes of Hilton Head.

Dear Brian, thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We are extremely sorry for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay.. We had the HVAC company out twice to the property but unfortunately it was over 100 degrees outside during the time of your stay and the systems were doing the best they could to keep up. Please note that this property has quarterly HVAC services scheduled and has been serviced just before your visit. We are so sorry that you had to change the filters yourself. The water filter was replaced in early July by our own maintenance tech. The front sliding doors have an issue with the locking mechanism, so we have the poles there for safety purposes. . We would have been happy to take care of this had we known it was an issue. We are always seeking ways to improve our guest experience, and your comments have been noted. We understand your frustrations and are grateful for your patience. While we know that this stay did not meet all of your expectations, we are hopeful for another opportunity to welcome you back in the future.
