Restful Retreat, Indeed!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. There was space and privacy for the whole family. The neighborhood was great and convenient to everything we wanted to do.

Great family fun!

We loved the house and hot tub. Kids played with pool table . The kitchen was spacious and had all the supplies needed.

Family Weekend

This place was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. It was close to everything we wanted to do; swallow falls, deep creek state park, kayaking. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Close to the market, coffee and ice cream and pizza. We want to come next year for longer unless we have more than 11 people. Also we wished there was a pantry because we had a lot of food lol. Outdoor string lights would be fun too.

Peaceful & Relaxin

Our family had a wonderful time at Restful Retreat! The home was very spacious and perfect for our party of 9. There was so much to do at the residence, and we enjoyed the hot tub & pool table. We loved the outside covered deck. It was a great place to relax and have your coffee in the morning. We had neighbors but you hardly knew they were there. Excellent soundproof walls! It was especially relaxing to enjoy the campfire at night, and the grandkids loved having smores. The lower level is perfect for a family with children. The rental is close to everything, minutes away from Swallow Falls and Deep Creek Lake Park, where we enjoyed hiking and relaxing by the sandy beach. Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well and it's nice to rent a place that is pet friendly. We also took advantage of the free admission to the community aquatic center which is approximately 5 miles from the home. One caution; one morning we did see a bear in the neighborhood wandering around Not unusual since it is in the mountains. It was pretty cool! Just be aware of your surroundings. I highly recommend this home! Our family hopes to come back next year! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
