Everything about this stay was top notch. The hosts were awesome, responsive and pleasant. The property is the perfect place for fun and relaxation. The house is clean and quiet and the pool and spa are heaven on earth.

**The Good:** Beautiful property with a great pool, outdoor space, and location. I understand that things happen, and I appreciated that the situation was ultimately resolved.**The Bad:** AC is a listed amenity, yet during a heatwave the home reached approximately 86. We specifically requested an emergency HVAC technician, but that did not happen. We were instead advised to open the windows and use fans, which did not adequately cool the home.Communication became frustrating, and I had to repeatedly reach out for updates. Some comments regarding monitoring cameras and health and safety felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. After giving them more than 24 hours to resolve the issue, we left after our third day.Overall, we were extremely uncomfortable during most of our stay due to the temperature in the home, and the experience was very disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property if working air conditioning is important to you.

I give the Vrbo host a 5 out of 5! I have stayed in TONS of Vrbos and Craig was by far the best host ever. Each issue we had he took care of himself, or had his yard guy or pool guy take care of it immediately. Again, thank you Craig!We chose this place because of the location and the pool and the AC! We have family in the neighborhood and I am a swimmer! The pool area is the highlight of the property but I needed to skim pool a couple times a day in order to swim; lots of trees and shrubs that add to beauty but shed a lot in pool; especially this time of year.The house itself is comfortable, beds were comfortable, kitchen area large, dining room area large however, the house could use updating and a few things needed repair. A cheese grater and a wisk would be a great addition to the kitchen!Thanks again Craig for all your attention and communication.

Perfect place for our family! Great stores close, full kitchen, pool, games, propane was full and the kids were happy. Only issue we had was our trip was too short. What a great time.

Had a good time with the exception of not having a working air conditioner during a heatwave. Days inside the house got to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Not pleasant. However, the house was clean, and provided all necessary amenities. Check in was easy. Parking was great on the driveway.

Pros: Communicative host through text messaging. Beautiful property, outside landscaping etc. Plenty of towels provided, there are cleaning supplies, soaps, spices in the kitchen, etc. Cons: Actual accommodations can use an update, like broken shutters on the deck door, which doesn't give the most privacy in that bedroom from the outdoors. Alot of furniture and walls are scratched up/paint missing, etc. The plumbing system is "fragile" so have to minimize use as well as be judicious about toilet paper use and flushing. We were nervous every time we flushed the toilet as a result. Some furniture also have unsavory-appearing stains on them, which was concerning.BIGGEST CON: We did not have a functioning A/C unit, and it was during a heat wave where there was a heat advisory and outside temps were up to 100F. The inside temp of the house never came down below 83 degrees and felt like a sticky sauna, and host's response was to stay in the pool instead if we wanted to remain cool. My colleague developed a terrible migraine by day 3 of our stay as a result from feeling so overheated. Also, only two bedrooms have a ceiling fan. There are two standing fans in the house, one in the living room and the primary (which is a weak vertical fan that did not cool the room down at all). House needs more box fans if guests cannot use the A/C, esp as the bathrooms felt like a sauna even after an ice cold shower because of no A/C and after toweling off, felt like the shower was pointless.

Great location, close to everything

We had a great time during our stay. This location is back in a neighborhood but is close to everything - grocery store, restaurants, seemingly 15 minutes or less from all the attractions. We had a couple of minor issues (pool heating, grill), but the owner was very responsive.

We were happy with the location. It was so close to stores, SeaWorld, beaches and hiking areas. We enjoyed this homes pool and jacuzzi with our family. Great home base for a wedding weekend

We stayed at the property with our family for a wedding. The property was well stocked, which we appreciate it since we forgot our toothbrushes. It was very enjoyable to use the pool and spa.

Great vacation getaway!

We were looking for a place in the sun for 2 weeks in a location with lots to do and found this house. Perfect location with easy access to many areas and fun things to do. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was exceptionally accommodating. Pool and hot tub area were perfect for relaxing. We definitely would stay again! A Great home-base for a lot of activities

Wonderfully appointed home, comfy beds, plenty of space for 3 adults and two kids under 12 who absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. Great location, close to Sea World, Balboa Park, the Zoo and the beach. Hosts are super attentive and informative, quick to help on anything you might need. Five stars overall!

A quiet retreat

A nice comfy home for the friend group that is seeking a break from the city and quiet bonding time. Pool was a highlight and lots of indoor activities available: baking, board games. A good distance from city life that can enjoy some time in gaslamp or little Italy but will have a good place to retreat back to.

Spacious, comfortable, working spa (a first for us), great communication with the property manager (huge help in a crisis), very comfortable bed (unlike previous Vrbo unit), all appliances worked (also unlike previous Vrbo unit), two full bathrooms.
