Ocean beaches & summer breezes come with this 2 bedroom, 2 bath Nantucket style Villa located in Maushop Village. This unit has had many updates in the Kitchen and baths. First floor offers kitchen with stove, ref., dishwasher & stack washer /dryer. Also countertop with breakfast bar. plus living room and dining area have cathedral ceilings with French door to front brick patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee. First floor also feature a bedroom, plus a full bath all with wide pine floors. Second floor has a bedroom with peaks of the ocean & full bath. Other features include a back patio and two sheds. Maushop village has private deeded beach rights so bring your bathing suit and beach towels~ you will never want to leave. Near by you can enjoy the many shops and restaurants at the Popponesset Market Place & dine ocean front at the Popponesset Inn. Don't forget the many fine restaurants in Mashpee Commons such as Trevi, Estia and Bleu to name just a few.

Please note, I have just purchased this property, so there are no reviews yet. I expect them to be awesome once they start coming for 2022.

Smelled like gas, do not book

The first night I woke up to a gas smell. I had to leave and the host did not give me a refund. Several family members confirmed the smell on different days, which came and went throughout the time I was supposed to be staying there. I ended up sleeping on someone else’s couch and this ruined my vacation.

Off season visit

We had a great stay. Nice and close to the beach so my mid 80’s mom could even walk back and forth. and the raw bar on property was the perfect place for an easy meal. Would happily stay again.

Perfect cozy beach cottage

The cottage was squeaky clean and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. It's in a well kept neighborhood village with lots of flowers, plants and trees.

Perfect stay

Cape Cod Stay

What a great place to stay for our first visit to Cape Cod. The unit had everything we needed and suited our needs perfectly. The location was excellent. Located in a quaint neighborhood and only about a minute walk to the beach. Easy to get to great shopping and eating venues. We could not have been more pleased.

Mashpee stay

Very cute spot, clean, with beautiful wood floors and updated kitchen. Loved the backyard and short walk out to nice private beach. Popponesset Inn definitely was the best meal, which is a short walk from the apartment.

Perfect size for our family of 4. Very close to private beach and easy 5-10 min walk to restaurants on site. Lovely village. Great stay. Would definitely rent again. Owner very responsive

Cozy little spot

I loved this unit! It was very clean, had what I needed, is close to the beach, and the area has lovely walking paths around the neighborhood. Also close to a lot of fun things to do. I would stay here again for sure.

Perfect Cape Cod Getaway

We were so pleased with our stay. It was exactly as pictured and just lovely. Beautiful picturesque walks and views, coffee on the patio greeted by birds and sounds of waves. Does not get any better. We will definitely return.

Lovely and family friendly

The cottage was quaint, with basic amenities in a great cul-de-sac location just a one minute walk to a beautiful beach. We’re a small young family, and spent most of the day out and about, so the house had all the creature comforts we needed. Overall a good price for the location.

Unit was as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Little confusion on internet address but the Owner responded quickly and we got figured out. Very nice accommodations. We would stay again.

Great stay

This is our second year staying in Maushop village. It’s amazing for young kids. Great location, quick walk to beach, walk to Popponesset marketplace. The house was just as listed. It was missing a few things but Scott responded very quickly. Great washer and dryer. Grill worked great. Nice seating area in front and back.

Nice after Labor Day stay

We had a delightful 6-night stay at this property! The clean and comfortable 2-bedroom, 2-bath home was very well maintained and provided the perfect getaway. One small suggestion would be to consider upgrading the blinds in the second-floor bedroom, as it can get quite sunny in the mornings. Scott was incredibly responsive; a minor WiFi glitch was quickly resolved, ensuring a smooth experience. The location is fantastic—just a leisurely 5-minute walk to a beautiful private beach, where you can enjoy long strolls along the ocean to Popponesset Bay. It’s also a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to Maushop Village, with charming restaurants and shops. Visiting after Labor Day meant it was wonderfully quiet, and I can only imagine how vibrant it must be during the summer months. I would definitely choose to stay at Scott’s property again in the future. Highly recommended!

Relax at the Cape

It was all we wanted. Love the area. Peaceful and quiet with a short stroll to the beach. Cute and comfortable two bedroom, two bath condo. One or two suggestions, not criticisms, just suggestions. Would be nice to have had a street map of New Seabury. I'm a visual person and can generally find my way around if I can orient myself north to south. But then again I love maps and not GPS. Good to know, that you should raise door handle to lock and unlock door. Had a wonderful stay and hope to repeat it soon. Wish you all the best and thanks!!!

Great Location

This rental has a very convenient location with just a short walk to the beach. The rear patio is a beautiful private and shaded space, where we took the majority of our meals. My wife and I were joined by our daughter and her husband and their two small children who stayed with them in the downstairs bedroom. I will note that if you are a family with very young children, you might have a problem with the two bedrooms being on different levels, but the arrangement would work well with somewhat older kids. It was very nice having two bathrooms. Everything was super clean and well-appointed, and we were able to get into vacation mode pretty quickly. Scott was very helpful in quickly answering any questions we had prior to arrival, and we didn't need to contact him while there.
