Clean, very well maintained, comfortable, cozy, -- perfect getaway for my husband and me to have a relaxing week in Chincoteague. Lots of little extras were appreciated. Would definitely book again.

We absolutely loved this place. It has everything you could ever need for a seaside getaway. All of the equipment in the sheds---chairs, umbrellas, as well as towels---helped us enjoy a lovely few days at the beach. I recommend using the outdoor shower as your daily ablution spot!

My family of 4 stayed the week and had a wonderful visit. The hosts of Cypress Cottage thought of everything! From the cute starfish dishes and top of the line cookware to the impressive outdoor shower and the shed full of beach needs, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!

Cypress Cottage is a power-packed home.Fresh coastal decor with everything placed strategically for a comfortable stay.Kitchen is equipped as if you were in your own home.Outside sitting areas for relaxing and eating with friends and family.Shed outside has what you will need for the beach and family activities.The outside shower is a plus when coming back from the beach.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this week.Hope to come back again next year.

Nice small cottage

Nice, comfortable cottage for two. Came for Thanksgiving and lots of birding on the island. Well supplied kitchen made meals easy. And Chincoteague didn't disappoint

This place was everything that they say about it and some additional things as well. Very well equipped with beachwear and kitchen amenities. Well, shaded by the trees so that we ate most of our meals outside. And the outdoor shower is fantastic after the beach. I highly recommend this place. It was wonderful!

Another great vacation on CI

Cypress cottage was wonderful. Fully equipped is an understatement! It had everything my family needed and then some. Though the house is a little bit away from the main spots and restaurants, it is extremely peaceful and quiet. The front yard is a treasure. Nothing beats laying in the hammock under the shade of the tree in the afternoon after a great day at the beach! Though our family had a house on the island (which was being renovated this summer) we would definitely recommend this wonderful, cozy cottage for a small group.

You could see that special care was put into every detail of this cottage, inside and outside of it. My family agreed that this was definitely one of the nicest cottages we've ever stayed in at Chincoteague- and we've been coming for years. The quality of everything provided was exceptional.

Access to storage for bikes which were great Trek bikes but we brought our own and could store ours safely in the shed. Made great use of the kitchen with good quality kitchen pots, pans knives etc. used the beach cart and the cooler on wheels made going to the beach easy. Always felt safe here. TV good quality and comfortable furniture. Everything was clean and in new like condition which is rarely found in a VRBO. Loved the outdoor shower!

Everything was clean and beautiful, and it seems that the owners wish to treat you like family. They provide anything you could need. The towels are wonderful, there is any convenience you could want in the kitchen, and it really helps not having to bring beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Thanks to the owners & Harbour Rentals for their graciousness

You do not need to bring anything. They have it!BTW I have only rented a little over 30 houses on the island. Some have better view, some have water access. This one blows them all away for being the immaculate and the best stocked/equipped house ever!

The property is exactly as pictured and all the extras were incredibly awesome!!! Those saved us from having to bring as much, which is a huge plus! The owner and rental company were easy to work with, although I asked a question about how many beach towels and the types of beach chairs and got a reply that seemed auto-generated because it didn’t address my specific question. No biggie, just mentioning that. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider renting from them again!

Well-appointed, cute, very nicely decorated, clean cottage. The hosts paid attention to every detail. We could find nothing we needed other than food and beverages. Everything was provided, even shower gel, shampoo, towels and scrunchies in the outdoor shower. It was like staying at a friend’s home! They also provided a detailed notebook with instructions for everything and a list of where everything was down to the drawer or cupboard. It is ideal for someone who is flying to Chincoteague and has one suitcase. We will rent again for sure. The only negative we experienced was that the laundry products provided were highly scented. Due to our scent allergies, we brought our own unscented detergent and had to wash all our bedding, towels and dish towels before using so as not to have asthma issues. For that reason only, it was a 9/10. If the hosts change to unscented laundry products, it’s a 10/10 for sure!
