Friend group at Pop's

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great. Location is great because there is a store and marina just ten minutes away. Back porch is specular becuase you can see the lake clearly. Plenty of room for the three couples who rented. Each had our own floor. Dock was great because it's an easy walk and great deep, clean water. Only problem is that there is no kitchen table to eat indoors and play card games at night.

This was an extended and multi generational family vacation for us and everyone absolutely loved it! I highly recommend this place. The ease to getting down to the water was big selling point for us. My 74 yo mom was able to make the walk fairly easily. It was a little steeper than it appeared in the photos but not too bad. We rented a party barge pontoon from a nearby marina so the boat dock was a great addition for the property. I highhly recommend Pop,s Place.

Plenty of sleeping areas for everyone and we really enjoyed the large deck and swiming spot near the dock.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, and there was more than enough room for our family of seven. My son caught a nice size Bass fish from the boat dock. Pop's Place exceeded our expectations. We would love to come back again next year.

Amazing views and very spacious property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property easily accommodates large families. Grandparents and their 2 adult sons and their families for a total of 10 with beds to spare! The 3 levels with nice bathrooms on each floor gives everyone a sense of privacy. The kitchens are amazing and there are 2 with more than enough dishes and everything else you need. 2 refrigerators keep all those needed drinks cold! The views of the lake are amazing, the dock is spacious and great for swimming! Three different decks and we lived on the 2nd level. Very nice!

Fantastic stay

We spent a week here and enjoyed our time immensely. The home is beautiful, the lake is fantastic and it was a great time of relaxation and fun. Our only issues were the back patio needs to be powerwashed, the hammock was in pieces and the Kayaks advertised as something we could use were filthy and one of the paddles was broken. In addition, there are no lifejackets available for use as required by law as we understand. We were happy to clean up the Kayaks and we did use them although before we were aware of the lifejacket requirement. Despite this, it was still in our top 3 of vacation experiences and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful property, relaxation and simply outstanding views.

Clean space with a good view. Communicative host. We were a little thrown off by the ask to of the host to supply your own toilet paper (outside of one roll provided per bathroom) and the allocation of one towel per guest, but other than that it was a great experience, and I would recommend it.

Lake trip with 5 kids and their grand parents

My wife and I took our 5 kids to Smith Lake for 5 days. My wife's parents came also. We had an amazing week! The house is beautiful and accommodated our group very well. We ended up not using one of the bed rooms even with 9 people. It is an easy walk down to the boat dock, not too many steps like a lot of the houses on Smith Lake. Thanks for an amazing stay!
