Cozy and comfy place in a wooded area. The neighborhood was very quiet and close to town. Communication was great and the EV charger was very much appreciated. The only thing missing that would have made this a 5 star rating is simple amenities like salt and pepper in the kitchen and bath soap/shampoo in the bathrooms. Most VRBOs I have stayed at have these items so it wasn’t something I had planned on packing.

Enjoyed our stay

Nice House on very quiet street. House is roomy which can accommodate a large family. The manager was super helpful in going us extra bedding due to the cold weather.

Great Location if visiting Julian and the surroundings

This beautiful home had had everything we needed for a weekend of relaxation. Plenty of towels, blankets and clean. I hope to visit again.

Wiser’s before school getaway

Great Julian House

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great - close to everything, just a few minutes from town and great hiking! The house is located at the end of the street and super quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed.

Wonderful place!

The place was amazing and beautiful. Very quiet, and beautiful view of the woods. My kids had a blast in the flower themed room and loved the stained glass windows. Beds were very comfortable! We were very pleased with our visit!

Perfect Retreat

This property is amazing! It was perfect for our group, and incredibly beautiful. It was so relaxing out on the balcony, listening to the forest and taking in the views. I cannot recommend it enough and can't wait to go back!!

Lovely and Peaceful Stay

Very nice accommodations with many special touches- reading nook, rocking chairs on the deck, piano and guitar for music fun, adorable decor. Nice view and very quiet with plenty of activities and dining options in the cute mountain town of Julian nearby. Very responsive owner when we had a question. We loved our stay at the Wildflower!

Julian Wedding Guests

This cabin was the perfect place for my family to stay during my brother's wedding. The kids loved the bunk bed room and the wilderness.

Julien Stay for a Family Wedding

The house fit our needs very well. Two seniors traveling with our daughter's family with 3 young children for a family wedding. 5-10 minute drive to town. Close to hiking trails. Would stay again.

Julian getaway

This is a comfortable home set in a canyon close enough to town for convenience but with views of wooded hillsides on the decks. We enjoyed listening to the owls hoot at night and watching the birds and bunnies during the day.

The house was great for young kids and the owners clearly care about the people staying there (even giving instructions how to use specific appliances). Our 6 year old would have stayed in the reading nook of their room with all the books available if we had let her. We also enjoyed the hammock, with the dappled light coming through the trees. A great getaway location!Owners were very helpful in suggesting places to go apple picking!The only thing to be aware of is that the short road to the house is gravel and the garage was just able to fit our minivan. It was very comfortable for our young family of 6!

Wonderful

This is a lovely cabin. It was perfect for a family/friends vacation. It was clean, and had some fun games for the kids. We loved having the piano and a place for music. Samantha from Julian Homes & Happenings was fantastic and helped us right away with any issues we had. We hope to come back soon!

Lovely home!

We had a wonderful stay at this wildflower retreat! The property was clean and had everything we needed plus some fun things for the kids. My kids loved their bunk bed room and playing on the piano! The property management company was exceptional! Communication was great - timely, honest, and detailed. We had to postpone a couple times due to snow storms and they communicated with us throughout the process and were understanding with our needs as well. The property is also really close to town which was nice. I'd definitely stay here again!

The Gem of Julian

This was our second time staying at this property, and once again, it did not disappoint. The home and furnishings are beautiful. We love the secluded and peaceful location, yet an easy drive from town and surrounding activities. The owners are easy to get ahold of with any concerns or questions. They respond in a timely manner and are quick to address any issues. The only cleaning requirement is to wash and put dishes away, so checkout is pretty easy compared to some other rentals we've stayed at. It's the perfect home for our group, and we definitely look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great for family; Not as Clean as Expected

My son really enjoyed the bunk beds. The location was great with nearby walking trails and the house was cozy with a great fireplace. There was an issue with the door code when we arrived but the manager was extremely responsive. Some cons were some areas were not cleaned well. We found dirty dishes that were put away, we found clean dishes in the dishwasher that were not out away, and it does not look like they cleaned under the master bedroom beds or took the trash out from the garage.

Comfortable home with beautiful views

The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job. There was a pull-out cutting board that hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival and water was pooled at the bottom of the fridge with pieces of food floating in it. We stayed for one week and there was only 1 roll of paper towels provided, 1 additional roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extra trash bags. A couple extra of each item would have been appreciated. The owners left a handmade “Julian” kitchen towel as a gift for us which was a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay here and were very comfortable.

Beautiful Home with everything we needed!

I enjoyed a lovely birthday getaway at the Wildflower with family including 5 kids and 4 adults. There was plenty of room and we all slept comfortably. It was the first time I used a wood burning stove but felt confident after watching provided video! Kept the home cozy on one of the evenings there was a storm and outside temp dropped into the 30s. We enjoyed playing the piano, games and reading books provided. Had most meals at the home as the kitchen is fully equipped with everything one could need. Julian is beautiful and green especially in the spring with all of the lilacs, daffodils and white oak. Close to many family friendly hikes as well as the charming town of Julian where we had a lovely tea at Julian Tea and Cottage Arts and so many options for apple pie (found gluten free and vegan options at Apple Ally). So grateful to be able to getaway and stay in the home with so much personality! Will be back for sure!
