This rental was perfect for a long weekend on Chalk pond. Located just a short walk from the sandy beach. The host had great communication and even let us check in early and out late so we had more time to enjoy the water. Having to bring your own sheets and towels requires some planning but this rental is definitely worth it. Hoping to come stay again next year.

Good for families

We booked this place last minute for a long weekend and were really pleased with everything the area had to offer. The place itself was comfortable and we appreciated how accommodating the owners were. Good spot for families!

Relaxing trip

We had a wonderful time, the property had everything we needed, we really enjoyed the kayaks and the kids toys. It was a bit buggy but we had bug spray and that helped. We enjoyed the clubhouse and playground too!

Great, light and airy house for New Hampshire vacation

Kate was a fantastic communicator and made everything so easy. The house worked perfectly for our group of four adults, could have easily and comfortably accommodated 6. Great hiking trails and swimming pond so close. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful place

My family of four (two you adult children and husband) loved the house and the area. Went to chalk pond several times and had a blast; played games/watched movies when the weather didn't cooperate; and enjoyed walking around Newbury Harbor and hiking near The Fells.

Quiet Retreat

What can I say. This place is an absolute gem. It is a legit summer house that despite it small quirks like washer hook up and lack of A/C, you feel at ease and relaxed at this charming and open chalet. The host was wonderful in catering to our needs with three rambunctious boys, complete with toys galore! Their wifi worked great and the beach and kayaks were a huge hit for us. We ended up just staying the whole week playing on the pond! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Awesome House

The house was terrific for our little getaway. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was amazing. This was our first time to the area, and we loved it. The New England towns, the lakes, the trails; everything was picture perfect. The fall colors were just starting, which just added to our enjoyment.

Sunroom scrabble

The house was clean and well approximated. We celebrated birthdays in the sunroom and played Scrabble. It was a wonderful house for a family. We had six people very comfortably in the house.The pond is wonderful with having no motor boats and very quiet.

Peaceful Getaway

This is a great little cabin. The owner's make everything very easy. It's a great place to relax for a week or a weekend. The pond is lovely for canoeing, swimming, or fishing.
