We loved our stay at the Apple Tree cabin. The cabin was so welcoming when you entered the front door. The living room was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were all a great size and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were all clean. The best part of the property for us, was the outdoor patio looking over the creek. It is so beautiful and the elk and deer were along the creek everyday. We would highly recommend this cabin!

The property had a great view on the creek. The only issue was the master shower had very high pressure and the other shower would not warm up.

The cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. We loved the open living/kitchen/dining area and the decks, covered and uncovered. We loved drinking our coffee on the deck each morning and watching the deer coming down the river. We had a couple of issues with bees and a toilet, but a very nice maintenance guy took care of the issues. We will rent this property again if we come back next summer!!

The drain in the shower was not even attached to the floor. There was just a hole in the floor for the shower. The The cabinet in the bathroom is about to come off the wall. The floor is so uneven from the kitchen to the laundry room that it’s dangerous. One of the bedrooms, smelt like cigarette smoke. Several of the lamps didn’t have bulbs in them that worked. The yard was not maintained lots of weeds and tall grass. We were very disappointed in the overall experience. We would not recommend this property to anyone. Don’t go by the pictures on the review of this place. It’s way misleading.

The cabin was excellent. It was clean and spacious- perfect for our family. The outside deck and views were the highlight of the cabin. We, unfortunately, got caught in the floods while there. Hummingbird cabins was very helpful in working things out with us since we had to cut our trip short. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing family time

Patio area was perfection listening to the babbling brook and watching wildlife. Ate, played card games and made memories! Inside cabin was quaint and comfortable. Loved our stay and we will be back!

Our family enjoyed this rustic cabin in Ruidoso. The cabin had a perfect outside space to hang out as well as a large living room. The kitchen had everything we needed for home meals! We had a great time sightseeing and hiking around Southeast New Mexico! Thanks!

Right by the soothing sounds of the stream, this cabin was perfect for our family of 5. With being busy all day enjoying Ruidoso and surrounding places it was nice to come back to a cozy cabin.

Quiet Family Retreat

We enjoyed a quiet time for our family. We joined our son who is in the Army with his fiance and her son for a time of rest and to get to know each other. The cabin was clean and had plenty of character. The location was just what we needed to get away and get time for our family.

Relaxing

We had a much needed, relaxing break from the Texas heat. The cabin is very rustic but cozy and fairly clean. Kitchen had everything we needed and was very nice. The best thing was the deck overlooking the river. It enhanced our stay and was just what we were hoping for!

Great cabin

Beautiful cabin in good location. Living room was so comfortable & spacious. Kitchen was very nice. Only complaint the third bedroom bed was terrible- needs new mattress and it squeaks horribly when you move. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Deck was perfect for relaxing.
