It’s a pleasure to meet you! We’re Tom and Darlene. Since our partnership began in 2017 we’ve enjoyed traveling together and staying in a variety of Airbnb’s (50+ Airbnb’s). This adventure planted the seed to fully remodel and transform our former long term rental in Tempe, Arizona into Our Zen Home.

Our Zen Home is a part time space for us to relax, reconnect with family and friends, and play. We’re blessed and excited to share our beautifully, transformed, Zen Home with you. It is our wish that you also have the opportunity in this fast paced world to unwind, relax, reconnect, and play.

Indulge in the ultimate relaxation experience at Our Zen Home. Our tranquil backyard features a crystal blue heated pool, a 5-6 person spa, & an outdoor conversation area with a gas fire table. The backyard is a perfect place to have some fun & reconnect with your friends, golf buddies, soul sisters, a perfect romantic getaway or families. Our Zen Home features a putting green, corn hole, BBQ, and an outdoor dining area that seats 6-7 people.

Located in the heart of Tempe, Our Zen Home is just minutes away from Arizona State University, Spring training, & Old Town Scottsdale. Our location offers easy access to a variety of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores & shopping centers. Inside, you'll find a thoughtfully designed space that blends modern amenities with mid-century charm.

The house features 4 cozy bedrooms, 2 luxurious bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen with black stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. The living room is a perfect place to relax and unwind, with plenty of natural light
and comfortable seating.

Our Zen Home is only 12 minutes to Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, 2 miles to ASU, and walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacy.

We charge $30 per night for HEATING the pool. During the winter months in Arizona, please keep in mind that cooler air temperatures may affect the overall heating capability. As a rule of thumb, we target a comfortable temperature of 78-80 F, however, the highest water temperature rise is 30 degrees. For example, if the outside temperature is in the 40s, you can expect the pool to warm up to the 70s. Please let us know if you would like the pool heated.

Please Note-
We have put a lot of time and attention into the design, amenities, and all the extras you'll need to provide you with the cleanest and most enjoyable stay.

We ask that there are NO parties or loud music that will disturb the neighbors. We ask that you respect our home and leave Our Zen Home clean and tidy when you leave.

-We love babies and small children as we are parents of 8 grown children together and Our Zen Home is NOT baby or child proof. There is no protection around the pool and many items throughout Our Zen Home that little crawling babies and small children can get into, break and maybe even hurt themselves for this reason we don't allow babies and small children. (We also don't provide a high chair, a crib, or pack-in-play.)
-We REQUIRE that all minors staying in Our Zen Home MUST know how to swim and must be adult supervised at all time.
- For your protection we have security cameras outside in the front and throughout the outside perimeter of Our Zen Home. There are NO cameras inside the house or fully into the backyard.
