Summer House 401A by ALBVR - Corner Beachfront Beauty - Beachfront Balcony Accessible from all Rooms

**Please Note: Summer House is undergoing an exterior renovation. Construction noise, lifts, north railing barriers, and limited parking are expected from 6/1/24 to 8/18/24 for exterior painting and stucco and framing work on the north side of the building. This work will begin at 8am Monday - Saturday, and some Sundays. Due to limited parking, you may be required to park in the overflow lot across the street. No construction entry will be needed inside since they are just painting the exterior during this time and all pools will be open. The remaining exterior renovation work will be completed outside of this timeframe and no rentals will be allowed.**

Sugar Sand Haven (unit 401A) is a 4th floor beachfront 3BR/2BA corner unit at Summer House that sleeps up to 10 guests. This condo has been completely redone from top to bottom and looks amazing. The decor and style are on point and just the right feel for a relaxing getaway to the sugar-white sand beaches of Orange Beach. There's also balcony access and incredible views from literally every room throughout the condo. Sugar Sand Haven sleeps up to 10 with a king in the master bedroom, queen in the second bedroom, a twin over full bunk bed with twin trundle in the third bedroom, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.

Interior Appointments: Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee maker, 4 TVs, DVD player, full-sized washer and dryer, beachfront balcony accessible via living room and all three bedrooms, high-end cotton linens.

Complex Amenities: Community Hot Tub, Community Sauna, Community Indoor Pool, Kiddie/Wading Pool, Community Outdoor Pool, Sun Deck, Tennis Courts, Grill Area (Charcoal), and Fitness Center.

Did the job

The unit is attractive. It was clean other than the porch furniture which we had to wipe off before using. There are no lounge chairs on the porch, unfortunately. The kitchen was missing some items that facilitate meal-making and has an excess of other things such as glasses. There is no carpeting or rugs which is great for cleaning but makes the floor unwelcoming for kids, watching TV, exercising, etc. We have stayed at other Summer House units that are more comfortable. That said, this one was adequate for a 4-night stay.

Family vacation

Really enjoyed stay. Beautiful view especially moon at night. Also fun watching dolphins jumping in water in mornings. Condo very nice and outdoor balcony very spacious. Would love to stay here again.

Orange Beach Vacation

The condo unit was just as pictured on the listing. With that being said, the Summer House property was very run down in its exterior appearance. The entrance to the unit could be compared to a seedy hotel. The property on the outside needs a complete over hall. The unit could of used a better cleaning. The trundle bed did not have sheets on it, so we had to search for those and then had to wash the ones we found because there were a few hairs on the sheets. I spent our first evening dealing with the trundle bed issues. The master shower needs a new floor as it looked in bad disrepair. The toaster is basically useless. It needs to be replaced. The white furniture in the picture looks very nice but was dirty. The couch and chair either need to be cleaned or replaced. None of the bathroom doors had locks and none of the bathrooms had floor mats. Some positives - we never had an issue with parking. We never had to wait for an elevator. There were plenty of carts available for us to get our things up to our room and then again, to our car when we left. We loved the short walk to the beach. We loved the balcony and all of the furniture provided. The unit was priced appropriately. I personally, depend on VRBO reviews when picking out a property. I hope this much more detailed review will help others when choosing a property to stay at in Orange Beach.

Family trip 2023

The condo was just as is was described! Loved the wrap around balcony and furniture.. We stayed with 6 adults and one child(8) and would stay here again. Great location to the pool and beach. We have nothing negative to say.
