Steamboat Wharf Cabins

Cozy tiny cabin in Midcoast Maine, tucked among the cedar trees at Steamboat Wharf Cabins. Each cabin includes a queen bed, private bathroom with shower, heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a kitchenette, and private outdoor seating with Adirondack chairs.

Sandy Point Beach is an easy 0.4-mile walk away. On the property, relax by the shared firepit or enjoy the seasonal wood-fired sauna and cold plunge. This is a small, quiet cabin property with other cabins and guests nearby. Your cabin and outdoor seating area are private, while the outdoor amenities are shared.

Kitchenette
Each cabin has a mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and basic coffee and tea supplies. There is no stove or full kitchen.

Dog-friendly
One well-behaved dog is permitted per stay with a one-time $125 pet fee. Dogs may not be left unattended in the cabin and must stay off furniture and bedding. Please clean up after your dog and be considerate of nearby guests.

Sauna & cold plunge
The seasonal wood-fired sauna is included free during communal sauna hours on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00–10:00 PM. No reservation is needed. The sauna is shared with other cabin guests and is not self-serve. Additional midweek hours may occasionally be offered, but are not guaranteed. Private sauna sessions are not currently offered.

Nature setting
The cabins are located in a wooded area, so insects or wildlife may occasionally be present, especially during warmer months.

Steamboat Wharf Cabins is a peaceful home base for exploring Belfast, Camden, Acadia National Park, and the Maine coast.

We loved staying here! The cabin was adorable and very cozy. The host was very responsive during our stay and gave clear directions to check in. We also enjoyed the sauna and beach nearby. As female travelers we felt safe on the property and the cabin.

Cute little cabin!

Cabins were so cute and clean! And pretty much central to all things mid-Maine such as Acadia, Bar Harbor, Belfast and Camden! Quiet and serene with a cute little beach at the end of the road!

Cozy and Quiet

Perfect space for us! We were out and about all day and were able to come back and unwind in the cozy cabin. I communicated with the property manager for a couple little questions and they were really quick with the feedback. I would recommend these little cabins :)

Our Three-Day Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Steamboat Warf Cabins! The cabins are close to Acadia National Park and other places in the area that we enjoyed visiting including great restaurants and shops. The cabins were quiet throughout the day and provided the best atmosphere to relax after a fun day of exploring the area. Cozy, clean and comfortable. Ahhh...we will certainly come back to stay here again. Thank you!

Cozy Cabin in the woods

The cabin was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities that were listed on Vrbo. Sandy point beach along the river was just a short drive or walk down the road. I was traveling for work and the wifi was great and I had all the access I needed for online meetings, etc. The cabins are close together so you can hear the other guests at times. I do wish there were full curtians on the bathroom window especilly since the cabins are close together. I had a very nice stay, the bed was super comfy and was able to work when I needed to and walk down to the beach as well. I would stay here again!

This was the sweetest stay, filled with wonderful amenities, thoughtful details, and ease in every step. The cabins are cozy, tucked in the woods, and boast a wonderful sense of peace! Of all the places I’ve stayed, this was by far our favorite! We can’t wait to come back!!!

Perfect!

The cabin and surrounding property are gorgeous! A short walk to a small beach and about a 50 minute drive to Acadia, traveling through cute small towns along the way make this the perfect location to enjoy both the tourist and more local experiences of the shoreline! We loved it!

Much More Cozy Than A Hotel

The cabin was very clean and in a quiet location. Our stay was so much more cozy than staying in a hotel room. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Ideal for a person travelling alone or a couple. The backyard was a small oasis. The location is 5 minutes to a small beach and only 30 minutes to Camden or Bangor. We found it very easy to reach many great places from here.

It is an easy place to slow down, enjoy the coast, and use as a home base for exploring nearby towns, restaurants, trails, beaches, and scenic drives. Belfast is close by for shopping, dining, and waterfront walks, while Camden, Castine, Blue Hill, and Acadia National Park make great day trips.

Guests love the relaxed, nature-forward feel here—coastal Maine without the crowds, but still close to plenty to see and do. After a day of exploring, come back to the cabins, enjoy the fire pit or Adirondack chairs, and unwind in the wood-fired sauna and cold plunge.
