We enjoyed our stay but the condo needs serious updating. The kitchen pans and utensils were inadequate. The water would not get hot in the master bedroom. The shower in the master bedroom didn't have a place to hold any items like soap or shampoo. I couldn't get the dishwasher to work. Tidewater was nice and well maintained. Overall nice atay but would not book this condo again.

Thank you for your review of Tidewater 302. I’m sorry the condo fell short of expectations. We’ll replace and upgrade the kitchen pans and utensils, have maintenance inspect and repair the master hot water and the dishwasher, and add storage for soap and shampoo in the master shower. I’m glad Tidewater’s grounds were well maintained. We appreciate the helpful feedback and hope to welcome you back.

Tidewater 302

We really enjoyed our stay at tidewater. There was plenty of seating for everyone, which is often a problem. The amenities were wonderful. We loved that there were beach chairs included with the rental. We’re also so grateful to the staff of Real Joy for finding my daughter’s necklace she left in the unit. It really means a lot to her. Thank you so much.

Great stay

This property was great for our family. The Condo room was clean, well equipped, everything worked properly. We had an issue with a box fan that was resolved quickly with excellent customer service. I liked the security system with the bracelets getting in and out of the building. Parking was fairly simple in the parking deck. I like that this property had Grocery buggies to be able to get groceries in and out of your car instead of using luggage racks. Not All the shower heads at the beach were working to be able to wash sand off. That was slightly inconvenient.

Family trip

Overall, the room was a nice size. However, it was not available at the check in time of 4pm. When we were able to get in, it was extremely dirty. Our kids had black feet from the dirtiness of the floors! There was hair from the previous renter in the showers and baths and hairball on a bed. The kitchen definitely needs more items that we are typically used to seeing in places we stay (pizza cutter, any bakeware, kid friendly plates). The elevator use was a nightmare. We used the stairs 9 times out of 10 as the wait for the elevator was sometimes over 20 min! For the price, I would likely not stay here again.

Some things i felt needed to be updated and more equipped.Both recliners were peeled real bad.The tv in one of the bedrooms didn’t connect.The shower head was cheap and barely put out water. There wasn’t proper bedding for the fold out couch.

Great place but big delay catching elevators

We stayed a week and really enjoyed the room, location and staff. The only downside is the elevators. Just like many reviews, the elevators were the most aggravating part of our stay. The room was nice, but had a funny smell when you opened the front door. All-in-all, we would stay again if they could come up with a better solution for the elevators.
