This place was so wonderful we are already eager to book our next trip back. The views were to die for and they thought of it all with the details and furnishing in the house. It didn’t feel like a rental, it felt like a home. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Very clean and well stocked. When we had questions the host was very responsive. The views of the lake were amazing and we enjoyed having a campfire by the lake with the provide firewood. Beds were quite comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This property is absolutely stunning! Every room is spotless, beds are comfy, and the view is gorgeous! Unfortunately we were away from the house more than in it during this stay but we are already looking forward to returning when we have more time to spend at this beautiful place.

One of the best, if not the best, stays of my trips using VRBO. Everything exceeded expectations: the site, the communication, the climate control (heat-AC), the furnishings (great beds and bedding), cleanliness, and most of all the location directly on Lake Superior in a beautiful part of Duluth, within walking distance to grocery, a brewery restaurant and hiking trails. If you want to sit around a fire in cozy chairs, and listen to the waves and watch the ore boat and city lights, this place is the best.

This is the second property that we have stayed at owned by Relax Open Air. Both are well appointed with pretty much everything you might need during the stay. Anything that was missing was taken care of post haste. Communication was easy and Tabitha is super responsive. Additionally with Lake Superior right there, it’s hard to beat. Even though there is construction on the street, there were no issues accessing parking or the house. In all, a perfect stay.

This beautiful home had absolutely stunning views and a perfect location! We were lucky to have sunny, calm weather to kayak and hike each day. The hosts were gracious and responsive. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderfully appointed and designed property. Loved the rock walls. Too bad none of us young enough to use the kayaks or paddle boards! Checked with host after leaving if we’d left a sweatshirt and she responded quickly. Would stay there again.

The Gales was such a relaxing place to stay right on Lake Superior. It was quiet, peaceful, and the lake views were amazing. The property was spotless and had everything you could think of, making us feel comfortable and right at home. There were five of us staying together, and we all had plenty of space and felt very comfortable. It was also just a short drive to Canal Park, which we visited a couple of times during our stay. I would highly recommend this place and hope to come back again!
