La nostra piccola cabina accogliente si trova nello Chalet Village a Gatlinburg vicino a Ober Gatlinburg. Abbastanza vicino da essere solo a pochi minuti di auto dal centro ma nascosto sulla montagna dove è possibile vedere orso e tacchino.

Tempo per godersi le piste, questa cabina si trova nello Chalet Village e dista solo pochi minuti di auto da sci, snowboard, tubing e pattinaggio su ghiaccio a Ober Gatlinburg. Anche se sei vicino a Ober, a soli cinque minuti di auto dai negozi e dai ristoranti del centro di Gatlinburg. Non dimenticare l'acquario di Ripley.

Quando vuoi solo rilassarti, puoi goderti la vasca idromassaggio, magari leggere un libro e rilassarti davanti al camino a legna, o giocare a biliardo con gli amici.

In estate questa cabina ha accesso ai club del proprietario dello Chalet Village, che dispongono di piscine e campi da tennis.

Gingerbread House

This cabin was amazing! I had a little car and had no problem going up and down the mountain, me, my wife and our friends had a great time! Perfect size for 2 couples.

Great Spot

Cute place. Bring slippers/house shoes. Not a place for super tall people, as the shower head and ceiling fan are lower. Overall, recommend.

Wonderful location!!

My husband and I spent a weekend away and we couldn't have asked for a better location! The cabin was cozy and inviting and the hot tub is a major plus! Very clean and had everything we needed.

Family Vacation

We loved staying at the cabin!! It is in a great location and close to all the places we wanted to go to. Great communication regarding what would be available to us and what we would need to bring as far as supplies. Definitely in an area where you will get to see bears up close 🙂.

Anniversary getaway

The cabin was nice and clean and the location was good. Parking is a little tricky with no room to turn your vehicle around. A recliner or some other comfortable chair would be nice in the living room as the only seating was the sofa. Overall it was a nice surprise lace to stay.

Great girls trip

Property is in the mountains and surrounded by trees. Only drawback is I would not being littles due to open edge with steep hill area. Everything was great otherwise.

Great cabin, quiet

This cabin is a cute little cabin in the woods. The neighbors are close but not too close. They are down the mountainside or up. Noise is minimal. We got to see bears near the cabin everyday. Would definitely rent again.

We loved the decks!

The cabin had knotty pine throughout, from the ceilings to the doors, to the dressers. We especially enjoyed the high decks that put you in the middle of the woods. The decks had swings and rocking chairs. By the way, we saw a bear in the woods!

Wow

Our stay in the Gingerbread House was just what we were looking for and needed. Family time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We went to share time together in a quiet setting and that's what we had. The Bears were the icing on the cake. Most of our time was spent at the cabin sitting out on the porch, catching up on time lost between our visits, and being on the lookout for the bears. It was perfect in so many ways. We definitely recommend The Gingerbread House to anyone that is looking for a great getaway.

Cozy cabin that you can enjoy some perfect nights by the fire and hot tub.

The cabin was very nice. Perfect size for me, my wife, 3yr old daughter, and 17yr old sister. Very close to Gatlinburg, about 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The fan in the bathroom was really loud and the two bedroom doors need fixed. They are just a little nicked up, nothing serious. Overall the cabin and stay made everything flow with ease and simplicity. We will be back!!

Nice getaway

Great little property. I somehow missed that the bedrooms and bathrooms were downstairs which was only an issue because of a bum knee. The road to get to the cabin is HARROWING! Not a fault with the cabin, just was unprepared for the white knuckled driving experience. All the roads to these cabins were like that, again, not an issue with the property. Figuring out the light switches was took awhile. We loved the cabin though. Enjoyed the porch swing every morning with coffee.

Not for the faint of heart

The drive up the mountain was very treacherous.Basically one lane roads with no guard rails. If we had realized this, we would’ve stayed there. I would not recommend for anyone over 65 years old. The cabin was cozy. There were a few things to improve. The back area with the picnic table and pavers need to be shored up and an addition of a secure fence would be a lot safer. Most of the electrical plugs are loose. The bathroom plug could be higher as the hair dryer plug wouldn’t fit. Also, I suggest the shower needs a safety bar. The couch was too firm. The toilet seat is loose and slides side to side. The toilet itself is not anchored to the floor properly. On the positive side, the master bedroom bed is very comfortable. Great Wi-Fi and cable. The cabin was very clean and the bathroom had lots of clean towels. The kitchen was also clean and functional. I hope this is helpful. The bottom line is that this cabin wasn’t worth the amount of money that we paid for this stay.
