The house was very spacious and comfortable. The out side pool was a great detail to have because the ocean behind the house was hard to swim in. There was allot of seaweed. There is an easy access beach about 5 minutes walk from the house with really nice views. All of the rooms in the house were very spacious and comfortable . I guess as to the pricing you are paying for location and size of house for multiple travelers. There are grocery stores near by and a couple food places but they are driving distance. The only thing I thought was different was the day before last I had messages from the owners and the grounds keeper asking me what time I was leaving. Both of them sent two messages a piece, I did notice check out was 10am and was planning on leaving before then anyway so felt a little pressure in the morning to leave on time. I understand they had to clean the house but maybe just one reminder would have been enough? Other than that I have no complaints the house is good for a family stay and the area is worth visiting.

Since we didn’t receive a response, the property manager followed up by text simply to make sure everything was clear and to assist with planning the turnover. We always try to communicate in advance through Vrbo messaging, and we appreciate when guests are able to respond so we can avoid any need for additional calls.

Our stay at this beautiful home was truly unforgettable.Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful property. The scenery captivated our entire family, and we will all cherish it as an unforgettable experience. The amenities were excellent, as was your thoughtful attention to every detail. The view alone is something you rarely find—it’s absolutely breathtaking and worth every moment. Having both a pool and direct beach access right in the backyard, where you can even go paddle boating, makes this place incredibly special.The accommodations were outstanding, and having A/C in every room was a huge plus. Our family of 13 was completely comfortable throughout our stay.The host Mr. Carlos was attentive, welcoming, and made us feel at home from beginning to end.We highly recommend this home to any family looking to create amazing memories, enjoy plenty of space, and experience peace and tranquility while taking in the natural beauty of the island right from the backyard.We hope to return in the future—this home would definitely be our first choice. Vacation with a little Sleep

The aluminum outdoor, second floor screens kept us awake most of the night. (the wind) The master bedroom TV didn't work .

Hello Thomas, thank you for taking the time to write a review, the storm sutters have a lock which probably was unlocked. It was as simple as calling me and I will send someone to lock it. Same with TV , if you would told me I would replace it inmediately. I am sorry you feel like focusing in the only two negatives aspects about your stay and not mentioning the positive aspects of your stay such letting you checking in earlier, the view or the amazing pool, according to your daughter you guys enjoyed very much and had a glorious stay. Beautiful property in paradise!

There were a total of 11 of us that stayed here and the layout and number of bedrooms / bathrooms was perfect for everyone. While at the house, we spent the majority of time sitting by the pool. The tide would go out every day so we'd put on our water shoes and walk out in the shallow water. I would recommend water shoes as my 15-year old did not have a pair and did cut his foot on something on the sea bed. All communications with the host were quickly answered and most importantly to me, the house was very clean when we arrived. This was our second trip to the Rio Grande area and we would definitely return to stay at this home.

Something for almost everyone.

This place was fantastic for our family and grandkids! The house was spacious, providing plenty of room to spread out, relax, and visit. The host provided canoes, life jackets, and numerous pool and beach toys for the kids. Rise early to watch the amazing sunrise over the ocean. After soaking up the warm sun, you can cool off in the roomy house, which has remote control AC units in each bedroom, the kitchen, and the living room. Each bathroom features a walk-in shower with a 4-way shower panel. During our stay, we enjoyed watching a family of iguanas basking in the sun near the rock edge. You can cook out on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view. For beach swimming, Luquillo Beach, with its array of restaurant and gift shop kiosks, is just a few minutes away. Be sure to visit the rainforest for some amazing views. The house is a small drive from the main road but was worth it in our opinion It was hard to leave this place.

Sunrise in Paradise!

This property was amazing! The view was exactly what we were looking for. We spent the week here with family (15) and it was very spacious! Everyone had a great time and no one wanted to leave. We had a great time exploring our very own backyard reef! Make sure you have your water shoes as there are sea urchins and grassy areas to get to the reefs. We kayaked, we went snorkeling, and took a trip up to the El Yunque. Ricky was amazing as well, whenever we needed something he took care of it quickly. This house is located about 10 minutes from the main road and about 20 minutes from a grocery store so You’ll definitely need a rental car/van. The iguanas that live in the rocks walls are beautiful and visited us every morning along with the sun rise. We will definitely be going back as Puerto Rico is where my husband is from. Puerto Rico stay

The house was the perfect size for our extended family's vacation - lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds and great common spaces for everyone to gather as well as space for "alone" time. We primarily used the porch/balcony which had a beautiful view of the pool, pergola and especially the Atlantic Ocean. The property location was great - very close to the activities we wanted to do. The main issue we had (cleanliness) was water leaking from the roof into one of the bedrooms. There was also a lot of rain water that leaked through sliding doors downstairs. The property manager was quick to try to fix the leak. However, it being the rainy season with an unusually excessive amount of rain that week, it was a bit challenging. Nonetheless, the property manager was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly to texts, calls and other issues.

Hi Lori, thanks for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed the property despite the unfortunate rainy week you had to endure. With a normal amount of rain I'm sure you wouldn't have experienced any leaks. The intense rains that have affected the eastern half of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands during November have been higher than normal, as reported by the National Weather Service (NWS). The data reveal excesses of up to 20 inches above normal in some areas of northeastern Puerto Rico, a figure that shows the magnitude of the event and its impact on the area. It has rained non-stop for 3 weeks. Many houses were completely flooded and even had no power for a few days. I think you forgot to mention that since the house has a full size generator you never lost power and you were able to enjoy your stay and of course the house never flooded because the leaks weren't that bad. Anyway, we have already repaired the sliding door and changed the rubber seals and applied a new sealant to the roof. I highly doubt we will have problems with leaks again even with heavy rain Thanks and best regards!

Great for large groups

We are very conflicted about the star rating for this property. This listing has so much potential to be a great vacation home especially for those traveling with a large group. It’s clean. Great location. The house is not on a walkable beach but it is situated on a reef that provides a large shallow area for little ones to play in with water shoes. They provide plenty of activities with kayaks and a paddle board and life jackets. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the lights at night gave us the option to swim when it wasn’t so hot. Having a washing machine and dryer was added bonus! Recommend renting a car. Unfortunately, it was rainy so it exposed the house’s weaknesses as it is very dated. The whole downstairs is connected to the outdoors and no screens on the windows so everyone there got bitten all over by mosquitoes and ants. Some rooms had leaks, don’t know if it was the air condition units or the house. Doors, knobs, windows, blinds were so fragile. The shower knob actually came off. Ricky was a very nice guy when we finally met him but we didn’t see him until Day 5 of our stay even though we were reaching out. He was able to get someone to come our earlier than usual to treat the house for ants but by that time we only had 2 nights left in our stay. For the price point we definitely could have given a lower star rating, but the overall experience of the trip helped and with a little bit of investment on the owner’s part could definitely push this to a 5 star.

The property was a great location and with ocean views. We loved sitting on the veranda and swimming pool was wonderful. House needed some over all love, new mattresses, couch was hard for elderly to get up from too low, new stove and really good scrubbing. Plenty of towels, paper towels and some seasoning which was appreciated. Puerto Rico is a must place to visit!
