The home(cabin) was immaculate. The host was very responsive to any and all questions. Will definitely be booking this home again. The hot tub does take a few cycles to hear up, so be sure to get that going immediately if you plan on using it. The arcade machine was amazing for me to waste time while my wife was getting ready. Tons of games that brought me back to my childhood.10/10 would highly recommend.

Overall good location and stay.Good space for our family of six.Overall looked clean, but floors could use a bit of TLC - socks were dirty from walking on floor even with shoes always left at the door.Great supply of linens and towels - thanks!Overall kitchen well stocked. On thing that would be helpful would be a flat plan/griddle to help make breakfast cooking easier!Kids loved the pool. Disappointed in the hot tub. Even with following the instructions in the manual it never got hot. Parking was tight, which is expected in the mountains. We only had one car, so we were fine. But we did comment on several occasions we aren’t sure how we would have fit two cars, especially with neighboring cabin having two cars. Would gave made turn around very difficult. Again, just FYI for those with two cars.

Overall a great place to stay. Pros are : good location, a lot of small items included such as shampoo/conditioner/q tips. Pretty stocked kitchen and lots of towels and extra blankets and sheets were provided. Pool towels were also provided. We loved the game room set up as well. It was a beautifully updated cabin. The check in process was smooth and the hosts communication was great. The cons and why This is not a 5 star review- it was not as clean as it should have been. It looked very much like a quick scan/surface clean was done. There were still food crumbs from the previous stay on the floor and in the sleeper sofa. The pool room was not touched as there was random debris on the floor and someone had left a pair of socks there. The pool itself also did not look like it had been cleaned up. We were also looking for the stuffed dog they said was hidden cause my kids thought that sounded fun so we looked underneath the furniture and it’s clear it hadn’t been moved and swept under in a very long time. The hot tub never got hot- I followed instructions given in the guidebook and kept resetting the timer but the temp never changed so sadly we didn’t use it. The shower head in the upstairs bathroom needs a good clean or replaced as it sprayed out in places and was so wide I had a hard time rinsing my hair out. There was also poison ivy that had grown up and onto the lower deck.

Thank you so much for staying with us, Amanda, and for the kind words about the game room, the stocked kitchen and our communication! We appreciate the feedback. The poison ivy by the lower deck has been cleared, and the upstairs shower head is scheduled for a descaling. Our well water is on the hard side, so it builds up faster than we'd like. For future guests, the hot tub tops out around 100° (it's noted in the listing), so it's more of a warm soak than a hot one. We hope you'll come back and see us at Howlin'! – The Moonrise team
