Summary:
Enjoy our largest residence (The Evelyn 202) at the George and Evelyn on 8th with this classic, located in the quiet rear side of the building overlooking parks and 7th street. Featuring 2 bedrooms with ensuites, a full kitchen, dining table for 6, 4 bar stools, a large living area, upstairs entertainment area, as well as 2 private outdoor spaces this is the perfect spot steps away from numerous shops and restaurants

The Space:
For sleeping arrangements, this unit comes with a King and a Queen bed, along with an air mattress if a third bed is needed for extra sleeping. We advertise that it sleeps 4, but if someone is fine sleeping on an air mattress or couch, then 5 guests can definitely work.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to everything in the unit, including balcony and large deck. Guests must be able to climb stairs to access the condo.

The Neighborhood:
Simply stated it's the nicest accommodations available in best location you can stay at- the absolute center of the downtown Holland's idyllic 8th street shopping and restaurant area that features heated sidewalks in the winter. You will be steps from everything you would want to enjoy.

Centrally located on 8th street, you will find:
- Numerous restaurants, breweries, cocktail bars, chocolatiers, ice cream / yogurt, coffee, and food/wine shops
- Boutique stores, museums, art galleries, salons, movie theaters, farmers market
- Walking paths, bike trails, heated sidewalks, and playgrounds
- Short walk to Hope College, Lake Macatawa, and Kollen Park
- Within 6 miles of the Ottawa Beach State Park on Lake Michigan

Perfect for friends getaways, vacations, visiting loved ones, or just treating yourself to a relaxing stay. Owners will consider options for longer term off-season stays. Direct access to 8th street. 1 parking spot included behind the unit.

Getting Around:
You have direct access from either side of the building, from 7th and 8th street, for ultimate convenience.

Other Things to Note:
Please note, the 2 story condo is located on the 2nd floor and guests must be able to carry luggage up stairs to access condo. We do not allow any animals and have an Airbnb exclusion on file for service animals.

We loved our stay at the George. It was the perfect amount of space for a small group. So clean and well taken care of, and a great location, we’d definitely stay again!

Amazing stay!

This is one awesome property!! We have traveled extensively and stayed at a lot of vacation rental properties…this one does not disappoint! Perfect location and very well appointed! Comfortable spaces and beds with 2 suites to accommodate 2 couples with private space. Would highly recommend!!!

My family and I loved our condo for the weekend. It is beautiful, new and clean. Great location right downtown. Communication was great with property manager and always responded quickly. We will be back soon! Bring your own K cups

Wonderful location to shops and restaurants. The listing is extremely clean, well stocked with everything you need with higher end touches. We would recommend and we hope to stay again.

This property happens to be shared by two cousins, Matt and Amy, along with their two spouses. Their shared grandparents, George and Evelyn, are the inspiration behind the names of the property. In 2020, the two came together and began the journey of completely rebuilding the property and turning them into something unique and special that we'd be able to share with others who are visiting our hometown. Amy's husband, Chris, was the both the contractor & builder for the whole buildout and spent extra time on each detail ensuring that these units were of the highest quality.

This brand new property is a part of one of the most unique properties in Holland. The convenience of being located right on 8th St. and having a couple of patios that overlook 7th St, combined with the luxurious feeling accompanied with the unit is something that hasn't been seen in this area before. Whether you are wanting to walk around downtown or make a short drive to the beach, this is the perfect spot to treat yourself. While there are 5 total units on this property all available for rent, this one in particular happens to be our largest and features the most square footage.
