Private 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home on 2 acres overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains

This is a nature lover’s dream vacation home. In the heart of the Shenandoah Valley enjoy views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the back porch and the Allegheny Mountains from the front porch! This 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath mid-century home has had extensive renovations to include all the modern comforts you’ve come to expect in a vacation home. 10 minutes to grocery shopping or Natural Bridge. 15 minutes to historic Lexington and W&L and VMI universities. Great hiking trails and rivers nearby too! Home is equipped with electrical and septic hookup and a driveway big enough for an RV.

We welcome your four legged canine friends to Firefly Inn but we ask that they remain outside so as to avoid allergy issues with future guests. There is a pavilion to provide shelter from inclement weather. There are acres of fenced in yard for them to play and explore but Firefly Inn is not responsible for any injured pets or ones that may escape from the yard.

Loved my stay at the Firefly Inn. property and scenery was a huge bonus. We were in the area for hiking and it was the perfect spot to relax at after a long day of trail stomping. I loved that there were automatic night lights on the property. I don't like complete darkness.Also loved that there was a single cup coffee maker and a mini pot coffee maker. Definitely would choose to stay here next time I am in the area for hiking.

This property was perfect for us.It was clean and well furnished. Our grandson loved playing with all the toy trucks and cars they have. Hubby and I enjoyed the master bedroom with the sleep number bed. We had our sons dogs with us and they really enjoyed getting to run free in the fenced backyard. They did get baby ticks, but that is to be expected that close to cow pastures. I highly recommend this property.

As soon as we walked in, the place was warm and inviting. It was just waiting for us. The kitchen was well stocked for everything we needed. There were lots of condiments in the fridge and items in the pantry! The mattresses were comfortable even on the pull out bed in the living room. We loved the backyard especially for our dogs. The whole yard is fenced in. You might want to bring some bungee cords to keep that main fence door closed just to be safe. We left our two dogs for several hours in the yard alone while we were out and they were safe. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

AMAZING STAY

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was great; spacious and very clean. The host had great communication and ensured we had everything we could possibly need. The yard was great and perfect for our dog! Definitely recommend!

Awesome location!

We stayed here while in town for a wedding and it was perfect for our stay! We had coffee and breakfast on the back deck and enjoyed the views. There is a ton of good hiking near by and close to downtown Lexington.

After 20+ years in the hotel industry, I decided to branch out and try my hand at running my own place. I love having one set of guests I can give my attention to instead of hundreds. It's been a dream come true as I continue to make improvements on the home while being able to provide hospitality in a beautiful setting!

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

This was a home that I drove by all the time to get to my house and I was always jealous of the amazing views they had from the front and back yard. Being secluded meant it was a quiet location with great stargazing opportunities too. One day while driving by I saw a For Sale sign in the yard and immediately called. We were overjoyed it was available and spent a year fixing it up for guests during the pandemic. Once travel opened up again we did too and guests immediately fell in love with the location.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

You can't beat the views and the peaceful surroundings. It's a great place for families and friends to unwind and enjoy the porch swing or massage chair.
