Hi Carol, We wish you that you had mentioned the ant issue, it could have been easily addressed as this property has a pest control service plan. The house has central air conditioning that works well by all accounts. We have not had any other complaints about air circulation or the AC in general. We have also not had any other complaints about the WiFi. Lastly, the lockbox was nearing the end of its life and has been replaced, thank you for noting that issue. Thanks again for the feedback.

Thank you, Sarah, for your review. We are so glad that you enjoyed the home overall and sincerely regret that there were internet issues during your stay. We did not know that you were so disappointed by our communication and we are not sure why this is the case. We responded to your concerns immediately and communicated back and forth with you and the homeowner multiple times to help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, just like your internet service at home, the internet provider usually requires someone at the home to troubleshoot and also requires all of the homeowner's security permissions in order to help. Someone from our office came to let you inside the cottage after you accidentally locked the key inside and was told that the internet issues were resolved. We are sorry that your stay was interrupted by internet troubles. Regarding the lockout/ key situation - an electronic keypad may seem like an easy way to avoid accidental lockouts like you experienced but they also frequently malfunction, especially in the sandy/salty/windy conditions on the OBX. We recommend that all of our guests store their key inside the lockbox throughout their stay, that way everyone has access at all times and no one accidentally loses the key or locks it inside. We are glad that someone from our office was able to immediately come unlock the door (with no charge to you) and reunite you with your pet. Thank you again for your review.
