My family had a really great stay! The house is big and comfortable, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for multiple family groups. The two porches that face the lake were well used for dinners, and below to sit and stay out of sun or rain. The side screened porch perfect for morning coffee. There is a gentle walk down the hill to the lake, unlike many other rentals that have very steep hills. The dock was great!! Lots of room for rafts, and chairs, and fishing, and fun. The cove is especially nice to paddle around in the water, as it is off the main drag speed boats, etc. There were some floaty donuts there, and having the kayaks was really nice. We brought paddle boards, they are ok to use during the week when the lake traffic is quieter, on the weekends there is a little too much motorboat traffic to comfortably paddle out and around on.The kitchen worked for our group of 6, however the island seating is a bit pinched. The large dining table inside (and out) more than made up for that. The electric cooktop is not great, some of the burners don't work too well, so it takes a long time to cook on. The oven was great; we only used the top one.The phone connection and internet are not really strong- but hey, you are there to get away- remember??? That said, we did have to walk up to the road a few times to make calls. No biggie. All in all, this is a really nice house, and certainly one that I would come to again.
