Beautiful setting and wonderful accommodations

The property is well kept and the view was beautiful. When we had an issue, the property manager was very prompt in resolving the problem.

Perfect getaway

We had a fabulous stay! The view was amazing and we immensely enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, and floating in beautiful Lake James. We rented a pontoon for part of our visit so we could enjoy the entire lake. Highly recommend!

Amazing Views!

We had a wonderful time enjoying the views of Lake James and the great hiking trails nearby. We would love to be back again. The owner had clear directions and was helpful in getting our WiFi to work.

Wedding Weekend

It was a beautiful home to relax and enjoy the lake after spending a day at Biltmore Estate in Asheville. This home is as pretty as the pictures are!

Beautiful view of Mountains and Lake James!

Nice clean home with great views from every room. Great layout for families, upstairs and downstairs have family rooms. Good location close to lots of outdoor activities and Asheville is short drive. We enjoyed our stay and would book this house again in the future. Thanks!

If you are on the fence about this property do not be. Every expectation was exceeded. The host was extremely timely with any questions and a pleasure to deal with. However impressive this property is from the website, trust me, pictures can not do it justice!

Lake vacation

My kids are still talking about what an amazing vacation we had at Lake James! The house was perfect with 2 separate areas so the kids and adults could have their own spaces. Coffee on the deck every morning is a must the view and serene environment are incredible. As noted in other reviews there is quite a hike to and from the lake but the way down is not so bad and the way up helped burn all my extra vacation calories. We would highly recommend this property and are sure that you will make many wonderful memories during your stay!

Perfect mountain home

Our family stayed for Thanksgiving and had the most wonderful time! The house was spotless and had so many great amenities. Kids loved playing ping pong, and the kitchen was fully stocked for preparing our big meal The property owner went above and beyond to address any questions during our stay. He was always very helpful, kind, and quick to respond. The views of the property are also breathtaking. So enjoyed having coffee on the large covered porch and taking walks around the gorgeous neighborhood.

Awesome Vacation!

Our group included our 3 adult children and grandparents. Great family time and the house easily handled our crowd with plenty of room to spread out. Great location, house was very clean, kitchen extremely well stocked, and comfortable.beds. Gorgeous views of the lake and mountains. Lots of fun swimming off the dock with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Kayaks and fishing poles were a plus. Owner very responsive. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular View; Comforts of Home

The house had a good layout, clean, and a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. The inside of the house was actually nicer than the pictures display. Walk down to the lake is a little tricky, as others have said, but it's a small sacrifice for the view. There were only two of us, but the house can easily accommodate a family with kids or 2-3 couples. The guest book was a nice touch since previous visitors gave us some ideas of local adventures to seek out while there. Had one question for the host and it was answered very quickly. All in all, comfortable house for our visit!

Asheville Adventure

Home was Very clean and spacious!! Plenty of room to spread out. About 30 minutes to Asheville. Very cool town Lots to see and Great Food,Outdoor music,Art Galleries We especially enjoyed the Pinball museum were you can play unlimited games for 15.00! Went hiking in Pisgah forest saw some beautiful waterfalls. Lake James was clean and great for swimming. Only Caution over 100 steps down to lake..pretty strenuous Not for young children or elderly and Wi-Fi was sketchy Apart from that Awesome house and Location ☺️ Bruce was quick to help with questions We had a great time!!
