My wife desperately needed a get away. This was a perfect choice. Just a short ride to everything you would want to see and just steps away from the beach. The apartment was beautiful with fantastic views of the inlet as well as sunsets over the ocean. The apartment was clean and decorated nicely to complement its surroundings. We would definitely book again. Vist La Jolla, just a 15 min ride...a must!!

Beautiful bay/channel views from balcony. Short 5 minute walk to Mission Beach. Walkable to Belmont Park with easy accessibility to shops and restaurants. Our family of 5 was comfortable found our stay very relaxing.

Beach front with a lovely balcony. Beach, park, view of causeway as well as ocean. Well stocked with amenities. So fresh and clean. These owners went out of their way to provide a beautiful place and answer our requests. Will rent from them again!

We enjoyed our stay. Listing was accurate. Unit was clean and beds were comfortable. Everything we expected and needed was provided. Easy access to the beach and boardwalk. Check-in and communication with owners was all positive.

Beautifully decorated interior. Complete and quality dinnerware, cookware, and appliances. Comfortable beds, including the Murphy bed. Gated understory parking garage was appreciated. Best of all? The view from the living/dining area and the balcony! Thank you for an excellent two-week stay!!

Great spot right off Mission Beach boardwalk. 7 min walk to great beach. Good restaurants/bars close, easy access to the rest of San Diego. Great having parking spot.

Let me be clear in stating that there's nothing false about the listing. I freely admit that some of my concerns may be attributed to my age. We are in our 70's. I could've done a better job perhaps, in taking a closer look at the photos. It states that the beach is just steps away. While that is true, there are a lot more steps than we anticipated. I was under the impression that you walk across the street, and you will be on the sand. What you will find directly across the street is a row of jagged boulders running along the water where there is no sandy beach even if you choose to climb over the rocks. It is true that you can walk along the road and come to a wonderful beach area but not until you've walked what we consider to be more than merely a few steps away. I don't want to estimate the distance in the event I get it wrong, but I assume the younger you are, the shorter it will seem.The balcony is much narrower than hoped but that is on me. I should've looked closer. I had hoped to be able to stretch out in a lounge chair and read or take in the sun but that would be difficult in my estimation.You must park in space #?. It may be in there somewhere, but I saw no mention of 2 spaces marked #?. The first one you see is uncovered, next to the gate and a nightmare to park a van. The second is covered but the sign identifying it is obstructed by a wall from the entrance. Joel pointed this out when I texted him.Wonderful place but seniors may want to take a closer look.

excellent location

We enjoyed our time here. We loved that everything we needed was within walking distance. Street parking is a real challenge in this neighborhood, so it was great having a designated spot on site.

Our Favorite Place in Mission Beach!

This is the 3rd time we've stayed in Joel's condo and it's the only place we'll likely ever stay. The location can't be beat. We absolutely love it here and can't wait for our next stay!

Beautiful view, great property.

This property is located right off the channel, a short walk to the beach and walking path. We loved our stay. The Murphy bed worked great as well.

Vacation with extended family in multiple VRBO’s

Condo was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything we needed for the week was provided. Easy parking and close to beach and bay.
