This house was ideally located for exploring Los Alamos and the surrounding areas. The kitchen was well stocked, especially with coffee! One of the beds was a bit saggy and both the kitchen faucet and the shower head needs an update. We would consider staying here again, because overall it was convenient.

Super easy to check in and access to the property. Cute interior and comfortable beds. Unfortunately it did not look like the space had been thoroughly cleaned from the last guest prior to our check in. We tried to contact the host via messaging but didn’t get a response. We also didn’t try to call the number they listed because with kids and a busy schedule we were happy to just be settled in. Maybe if we had things could have been resolved. Limited towels available and be careful because the fridge freezes groceries towards the back! The water also gets VERY hot. Overall it had what we needed in the kitchen and was safe and comfortable.

The front screen door needs to be replaced - it does not close. But we were happy with our stay. Great location. We found a number of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner and were quite pleased with our stay. Great location. I had a couple of nice hikes in the hills. The museums were fantastic. And we had some great day trips (overlook at White Rock), Taos. We missed Bandelier National Monument (maybe next time!). I would come again.

Great stay

This house was very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. We enjoyed a week of skiing at Pajarito, and the house was probably the closest we could have stayed to the mountain.

15 min to the ski resort. Less than 5 to restaurants and parks. Well stocked kitchen!

Highly recommend

Very clean, comfortable, and well furnished. I would definitely recommend staying here. Quiet and very enjoyable environment. We really liked sitting on the front porch at night and watching the deer. Really convenient location.

Very quiet and convenient

Easy to find, good location and easy to get into town and to many area hiking spots. You can hike right from the house if you want, trails everywhere. Very quiet and comfortable.

Great Location

We visited Los Alamos for oldest grandchild’s graduation and were able to walk to the field. Easy to get to and had everything we needed or could think of. The bottle of wine waiting for us was a nice touch. Would definitely reserve again when we visit.

Great spot for a long weekend. Not too far into town and easy walk into Central area (coffee shops, Fuller Lodge, Ashley Pond)- 1mile. Ample parking. 1 split unit to cool the house. Great living room and big TV. Front bedroom had black out shades. Back bedroom did not. This was a miss for us as sun woke up and warmed up early. Bathroom was clean, but tub and sink are stained/wearing. Kitchen is small, serviceable with plenty of utensils, pots, dishes, coffee and coffee maker. Grill utensils were missing. Iron and ironing board were awesome! Plenty of clean towels, extra blankets and pillows, shampoos and lotion as well as cleaning supplies. Overall, I would not stay with more than 3 people, as 1 toilet is hard to share. That said, everything needed was there! I suggest owner use less fragrant laundry detergent and add mattress covers and move linens, vacuum, ironing board to the front room storage closest to free up space in the clothes closest for guest items. We enjoyed the porch and morning deer visits!

Nice little place, and things worked out in the end, was a little concerned that I did not get any communication from the host at all, but the necessary information seemed to be on the app. Decent kitchen and bathroom setups, overall better than many I have seen! Bed situation was not quite as described-no pullout couch, but there were twin mattresses in a closet, so again it worked out. One thing that was a little weird was the way extra linens were stored-just stuffed into some drawers/a shelf, so we weren’t sure what was clean, really. Fortunately we had time when we got there and just washed what we needed. Was overall an above average stay, would do it again!
