Aloha, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the unit very clean, although we are sorry the construction impacted your overall enjoyment of the stay. Fortunately it’s over for construction on that stack. We do want to clarify that the ongoing complex construction and the possibility of scaffolding, construction activity, dust, and potential impacts to the view were disclosed to guests in advance. Unfortunately, this work is being performed and scheduled by the condominium association and its contractors, not by the individual unit owner or our management company, so the exact location and timing of the work can change and is outside of our control. We certainly understand that construction can be disappointing, particularly at an oceanfront property. This is precisely why we make every effort to disclose known construction conditions beforehand so guests can make an informed decision prior to their stay. We appreciate your comments regarding the cleanliness of the unit and are glad that, aside from the association’s construction project, you felt the stay would have been wonderful. Aloha and thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re very glad to hear the condo was clean, comfortable, and that you enjoyed those beautiful ocean views. We appreciate your feedback regarding storage space — many oceanfront condos are limited in cabinet availability, especially when they’re fully stocked for guest convenience, but we’ll definitely take a closer look to see if we can optimize the layout for future stays. Thank you as well for noting the portable A/C. It’s meant to give guests extra cooling when needed, but we’re happy you were able to enjoy the ocean breezes with the doors open. Regarding the pool hours, those are set by the resort’s HOA for safety and quiet-hours compliance. We completely understand how that can feel disappointing, especially with kids eager to swim, but we’re glad you still enjoyed the pool during open hours.
