There are no words to describe how perfect our stay was hosts, property and location. We are truly grateful for everything,it was by all means life changing. Would 100% recommend this place for anyone wanting a perfect getaway and we will definitely return .

Sometimes in this business you meet people who could be family or best friends. Brian and Nancy are two of those people. We had a great time with them. We wish they were neighbors. Would love for them to come back.

Everything was perfect. Excellent communication from the hosts. The room was spacious and well appointed. The hosts were such a lovely couple and we enjoyed chatting with them! If I could give 10 stars I would! Beautiful property too! Can’t beat those views either! Can’t wait to stay again!

This spot was perfect for what my husband and I were looking for...quiet and near water. Barry was very friendly and helpful, giving tips about fishing from his dock. The room was spacious and had everything we needed in it. Would definitely stay again!

I had a great time with Jared. We went out fishing a couple times and he took full advantage of everything our place has to offer. I'd love it if he came back. Great guy.

My 13yr old daughter and I had a wonderfully relaxing time here! She is not about being very busy, so this location was perfect for us. We ate out at a few restaurants nearby and shopped at a cute family owned thrift store around the corner. The owner Barry is very nice and had some great recommendations for things to do in the area. Spending time sitting by the water and watching the sun set was heavenly! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Christine and her daughter were wonderful to meet and spend time with. She was here to relax and took full advantage of all the place has to offer. Hope she comes back for more rest and relaxation. We would love to see her again.

What a location! The views, the deck, and the water access.

Loved the views and going for a swim in the Rappahanak. Very comfortable bed and room. The host is incredibly nice and the stay was relaxed and enjoyable.

Room was spotless and private. Very comfortable stay! Hosts were extremely accommodating and willing to make suggestions for an even more enjoyable trip. We spent most of our time on the patio deck, enjoying the sights on the river. Ideal location and accommodations for a quick get away.

Great little getaway

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this adorable apartment and loved the little town. Barry was nothing but nice and enjoyable to talk to. Very peaceful stay.

Great Weekend Getaway

The property has a great view (particularly at sunset). The water is super accessible via the dock or beach. And the crofter cottage is perfect for two.

We very much enjoyed meeting Annie and Chip. Would love to spend more time with them in the future and would recommend them to any host. Hopefully they will come back in the fall when we can catch some rockfish off the pier.

Wonderful and Quiet Getaway

The views from the little room overlooking the Rappahannock River was spectacular. I was able to enjoy the sun from the private beach—- and go swimming (!) on Columbus Day weekend! It was relaxation at its best!

Outstanding

This vacation stay was everything and more that it could have been. The facilities were spectacular, the hosts were wonderful, and the adventure was as good as it gets. We look forward to returning over and over again. Everything was fantastic!

It was just a quick getaway with my husband and the room and grounds were wonderful!The host couldn’t have been nicer, nor more accommodating! The bed was great, amenities plentiful, and the room was beautiful. The neighborhood as ideal for our power walk. And…..the view!!!! The seating area on the dock was our favorite place for morning coffee and nightcaps!!We will definitely be back!!

We had a great time with Glen and Karen. They were fantastic guests, very clean and neat and a lot of fun to be with. I sincerely hope they come back so we can do more fishing and spend more time together. Wonderful couple.
