I'd like to address a few points for the benefit of future guests considering this property. Regarding towels: Lily Pad Cottage is stocked with 10 bath towels and 6 beach towels available for use at the hot tub — 16 towels total for a group of five. As noted in the listing, guests are welcome to bring their own linens, which is standard practice for vacation rentals; the towels provided are an added convenience above and beyond that. Regarding water access: the property features direct lake access via a swim dock with a ladder, making it easy and comfortable for guests to enjoy the water. Guests can absolutely swim from the property. As for snapping turtles — I've spent years boating on Spring Lake and have never encountered one there. The lily pads are very much part of the property's natural charm, and I'm confident the swimming area is safe for guests. On the condition of the home: Lily Pad Cottage was fully remodeled in 2021 and has received ongoing updates since. I take great pride in the care I put into this property and take all guest feedback seriously. We did transition to a new cleaning team immediately prior to this stay, and we were actively working through that adjustment — several concerns raised during the stay were addressed promptly, and I appreciated the communication. Regarding laundry: as noted in the listing, the property does not have on-site laundry facilities, so I encourage future guests to plan accordingly before arrival. I hope this provides helpful clarity for those considering Lily Pad Cottage, and I welcome the opportunity to host guests who would love everything this property and the Spring Lake area have to offer.

We have a permanent boat slip and the ability to tie up on the outer wall. We've also installed a dock with a ladder for easy water access. Please note that the water levels are very low this year, which may have affected your ability to get in and out of the boat. We strive to provide a great experience for our guests and are constantly working to improve the rental experience.
